hi ive had this horrible sore throat for like 6 days. ive tried everything and nothing seems to work. ive stayed home 4 days from school and am really far behind. what is there to do ive watched like every movie and slept but i get so tired, how do i cure this and what can i do while im sick

my parents are always giving me compliments on how beautiful i am, blah blah blah. i hate it!! it annoys me so much, and i don't know how i'm supposed to respond. it doesn't bug me when my friends compliment me and stuff, but i absolutely hate it when my parents do it. i cant even fix my hair in the mirror without my parents looking at me and saying to eachother "look at my daughter, shes so pretty". i used to wear my hair up all the time and i used to wear glasses. my parents got me contacts, and i liked wearing them, but when i didn't they would get mad, especially my dad. they would be like "wheres your contacts, you're so pretty. and wear your hair down!" omg, so i stopped doing it because i hate getting comp...

ok, so all my friends are fuck!ng crazy! they have way to much drama and its really getting on my nerves. they have all pretty much dated with one another or hooked up with them. but now, they all hate who the others are going out with. its funny to be me sitting back and watching them fuck up their lives, but how do i get them to realize that its best to just grow out of that shit and enter the real world?

Lost in lust and love

I just turned 25, i am single and have a 2 year old daughter. Alot of people find me attractive, but I am completly insecure of myself. I am addicted to attention from males. I fall for a guy very fast and are always too nice. I just cant ever tell if the guy really likes me or is just playng around so I dont stop looking for the right man. I am seeing someone right now and like hom very much but he can be so distant and hard to read. He's very nice and we see eachother often, but why doesnt he show more interst in being with me. He tells me iam hot and we have been intamate but I cant tell how he feels about me, does he want to be exclusive or doesnt he can i ask without freaking him out? either way i would still see him I just dont know what to do.

Ok I think that I am fat, and I feel like I can't do anything about it. I have tried eating right and exercise and all of that but it doesn't work. I can't stop eating stuff, I work at Dairy Queen and I get a 50% discount on stuff and I always give in and eat there. I have stretch marks and I am going to have to shop at a "fat kid store" soon if this does not change. What should I do? What would motivate me to change this and how can I acquire the will power to change?

there is this boy in school and i have a crush on him. i've known him since 1'st grade.he is cute,funny,and really nice.he is never mean to anyone.he gets good grades and everything.he knows me and i know him but he's kinda popular.
i'm not sure if he likes me too.my best friend hates him! i can't tell her i'm afraid she wouldn't understand.what do i do? please help!

Hey i'm 13/f, and i think i just started to get discharge about a month ago... (its the whiteish yellowish stripe kind of thing in you underwear) just today there was an almost greenish kinda stuff in my private part... what is it? does it mean anything? also, im really skinny(like 76 lbs.) and maso/menos underdeveloped (im about 5 feet)... what is it and what should i do, and around when do u think i'll get my period? thanks!!

Anniversary!

I know there are always all sorts of questions about this kind of thing on here, but I figured I may as well ask and see what you think.
Our one-year anniversary is this sunday. I want to get my guy something interesting...something special. I'd get him jewelry or something, but he never wears jewelry, except one necklace he like...never takes off. I thought about getting him a Kama Sutra book (lol don't ask...my friend thought that up as a joke), but I dunno if I should. What can I get him or make him by sunday? Money's not much of a problem (for once, YES!! I HAVE a job!) so...I just need gift ideas. I appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

i was staying after school waiting to be picked up and the 1 guy that ive liked ALOT with me. (he kinda had feelings for me but he is so hooked on his gf) well my dad called my cell and said my Aunt DIED, and he'd pick me up in an hour. so i started crying histerically, and Tom just came over and comforted me and i layed there in his ARMS crying. he literally wiped my tears and layed with me the whole time. losing my best friend?

I love my BFF so much. We've known each other our whole lives. The problem is, this year, she has drastically changed. She hangs out with the 'popular' girls who smoke, do drugs, have sex, etc. She has started also to do these things. I know these girls are her friends, but they are a very bad influence on her. She used to be so brave and not care about what these girls did, she was herself. Now, I can't help missing my old best friend. She's changed the way she dresses, talks and barely even hangs out with me! I just don't know how to bring all this up to her at once, I feel like she'll get upset and be mad at me for being honest. What should I do? I need her in my life!

ok. my bfs parents dont him going out with anyone, like they are REALLY overprotective. we are fourteen years old ! what the hell do they think that we'll do together?? at first we went out for like 4 daiz then he told me that we might have to call it quits cuz of his parents (his older sister somehow found out and told his parents). so then that day when he got home he told his parents that we broke up so that they thought that every thing was ok. its been about eight days since then and he called me and told me that his parents found out, which didnt make any sense, cuz his sister didnt tell them.he still wants to be friends, and i wanna be more than that. ok i just got in 7th grade and everything seemed to change between me and my best friend we are gettin in all these fights and she is ALWAYS choosing her boyfriend over me and i tend to get mad at that cause she seems to choose me over me EVERYDAY like one day she spent the night with me and she goes ill be right back and she went upstairs and snuck on the computer to talk to him!! i know in jr. high things change!! how could i keep things from changing as much between me and my best friend!!
