I've read all the "how do you know you're in love" questions in the archive, and I've asked a few friends, and all the situations involve either knowing immediately or not knowing for a couple of years. My Boyfriend and I have been going out almost a month now, and I *think* I'm falling in love with him. the thing is, people keep telling me "you'll just know... love isn't rational". I'm an overly analytical person. I need evidence.

I have this boyfriend and I need some serious advice. I love him do not get me wrong on what i am about to say. He is an alcoholic. It didn't bother me at first. He used to let me do what i wanted when i wanted and now it's like i have to beg and plead with him to do what i want to do. He expects me to be at his house as soon as i get off work. If i'm not he's mad and we fight. Not all the time but..the majority. He gives me a time to be home and i am . When i tell him a time he says he will do as he pleases.

I'm not sure if anyone will remember this, but I had asked a question as to whether or not it would be the right thing to want to go to the same college as my boyfriend just to be together. Well, he decided he wanted to go to Arizona. To be exact, The Art Institute of Arizona and I was going to go to The Bryman School of Phoenix to study massage therapy. I was looking at houses online in Arizona and I noticed that they were dirt cheap (as in price) so we decided to buy a little house out there (There are 3-4 bedroom houses for 95,300 out there!) My only concern, it's the desert and I'm PETRIFIED of snakes. I know there are many many many snakes there. Does anyone live in Arizona that is scared of snakes? What do you do about it? i hear constantly about 14 year olds having sex... this is scary. what has the world come to? one day people will be having sex at 8 and then people will finally realise there is a problem. i dont see why 14 year olds have sex when they are so young... at 14 i was like, gross, why have sex? i'm 17 now and i am a virgin... i am proud of that and i like it coz guys respect me and i know a guy isn't going out with me for sex. what i want to know is why do girls lose that respect at such a young age? and how young were people when they lost their virginity???

my boyfriend is having surgery next week on his knee. he says its no big deal and that hes glad hes having it. im really sad but happy for him at the same time... what if something goes wrong? im scared though is this normal i just dont want anything to happen to him and i hope it doesnt he wont be at school for a week because he will be on cruthes and i dont kno if i will be able to talk to him on the phone much. how do i deal with this. thanks for any advice!

im having the worst problem..ok me n my bf well we had sex and i mean i love him with my whole entire heart and we went out for a year and hes my world..and well im not tryin to be mean at all here but he got with this extremely ugly girl thats like 5 inches taller than him..and he tells her all this stuff and they had sex on vday and shes denyin it all and i mean atleast he had enough man in him that he could tell me bout her n all this and i forgave him and now hes telln me he still loves me and he wants me back and i just never thought id ever forgive him but i have no idea what to do i mean today he came over and we messed around which i shouldnt have and his other girl has no idea ..but shes always with other guys too and he just does...

my dad hits me. and i'm really afraid of him. when he comes home from work i stay in my room. but whenever i do something wrong. even when i get less than an A on a test he'll hit me and say i'm not living up to my potential. i don't know what to do. He hits my mom to and i get badly bruised from the battles. what can i do? who can i go to? and is there anyway possible that i can get out of my house and be adopted or something? help me Please.

well i had my period a week ago, fer about 3 or 4 days idk, but then it got really light , like hardly ANYTHING at all on the pad , so yeah but now it feels like im going to get it. Is it possible to get it?
Also..My best friend had sex before and in january she got her period for over 1 week about 2 weeks i think she said, and now she didnt get it in february, could it be becuase shes pregnet, or because she had it so long in jan. she wont get it in feb? Thanks so much!

i suffer from Acid reflux and irritable bowel and im only 13..i take prilosec for my reflux and fiber for my irritable bowel..my question is if i eat something like pizza which i havent had pizza in almost a year..will it hurt? cause i get indigestion soo freekin bad and feels like a heartattack...i have lost about 30lbs because i hardly eat anything..and i feel kind of weak..i eat alot of meat and stuff but no greasy, spicy, or fried stuff...another question is..is it possible that i could go annerexic if i hardly eat anything?

Troubled nephew

I have a 17 yr old nephew that I am fairly close too and really care about, yet not close enough where he trusts me enough to talk openly and honestly with me.
A couple of weeks ago he got into some trouble in school. This is the story he told his parents (my sister is his mom) and the school principal. A kid his age threatened to beat him up in sixth period, and even shoot him. Come sixth period, the guy took a swing at my nephew, infront of all the other students as well as the teacher, my nephew ducked, then punched the guy in the face. Then everyone was cheering them on when the another teacher broke it all up. Long story short, my nephew gets suspended, and since this was his third suspension, all for stupid, stupid actio...
