Awww it's okay. He'll be fine. My sister has gotten knee surgery before. I mean, I know you may wanna talk to him a lot but he'll be fine, don't be worried. Plus, you'll just feel so much better if you take a break from him and then finally get to talk to him again after a week..or so. He'll be a little woosie if he's on medication (trust me I have experience from my sister) haha.. so yeah I think it'd be best if you didn't stay on the phone with him too much because he would need his rest. But you should call him to see how he is, and if there's anything you can do..

Just think -- at least he's not getting open-heart surgery or anything.

Its totally normal to be scared. Dont make him scared just say yeah in a week youll be good as new.. make him feel good that he is having surgery. Once he is out of surgery send him a present.... I think the best present is the cookie boque or however you spell it. Or you can send him a card wishing him well maybe chocolate ( you cant go wrong with chocolate!). Show your support that you care about him! hope this helps! good luck:) xoxo BLONDE911

You can go to his house and see him
He'll be fine, My friends grandfather had sugery on his knee and he came out fine and hes old (a young persons body heals faster then an old person)

Dont stress about it, he needs the faith hes gunna come out all right and you can give that to him

Having knee surgery is one of the most common surgery there is, other than getting your tonsles removed. I can guarentee you that nothing will go wrong and he will be JUST fine. My boyfriend had knee surgery just like everyone else in his family. I'm sure you'll live without talking to him for a mere week. The week will go by very fast and he'll be better in no time. There is absolutly nothing for you to be worring about. I got nervous too when my boyfriend told me he was getting surgery. He's nervous about me getting my upcoming surgery on my mouth. It's very normal to be feeling this way, but you have to know that everything is going to be alright. He'll be back within a week and you'll be able to see him and hug him and kiss him or whatever you want. He will be fine. Hope this helped.

Yes, this is definitely normal for you to be scared and not wanting anything to happen to him; this shows you that you love your boyfriend a lot and that you care about him. Nothing will go wrong because doctors these days are educated very well and know what they are doing and with technology in this world, nothing will happen to your boyfriend during his surgery. You will be able to talk to him on the phone, it's just that he might not be able to answer it, since he will be on crutches and such. When his surgery is over, go to the hospital and be there for him. You need to just pray and knowing that nothing will happen to your boyfriend. I wish your boyfriend best of luck when he goes into surgery!
