ok i kinda got 2 questions
what is the difference between love and lust and how can i tell it apart?

okay so i got my first serious boyfriend in december... and we dated for almost 4 months...but he was the first guy ive ever felt that way about...all the other guys from my past its never felt right which is why i would never pursue a relationship...but with this one it was different. he was so perfect.
well we broke up about a week before our 4 month because it was a long distance relationship and the stress was just really getting to him. it was really hard for me because i love him. i tried to pull myself together but i cried all the time which only led to more fights with him.
then i decided that if i cant have him as my boyfriend i still want to have him as a friend because he knows me better than anyone....

i broke up with my boyfriend on monday. he was unsure of our relationship and was doubting and apparently "confused" about it. i decided to break it off so i wouldnt get hurt in the end. now, he's telling me that he never was gonna break up with me in the first place. im shocked and devastated. ive been seeing this guy for five months. well...now..even though he doesnt suggest we get back together (even though he shows it through body language) he flirts like CRAZY with me. i dont understand why. he points to places where we used to make out...touches me...all those things. i thought that breakups meant ignoring the other person. what does this all mean and how should i act? should i follow him around or ignore him? i dont wanna seem desperate. thank you in advance :)

this is a very long story. i have had the biggest crush on this guy (call him bob) since i met him two years ago. well, me and someone else (call him bill) started goin out, but i still liked bob. well, now bob has finally told me that he wants to go out. so i broke up with the bill (which caused a BIG emotional scene), but i think it was the right thing to do.

I am getting married soon, but there are still some issues bugging me that I thought my fiance and I had resolved.
- He smokes
I know this is a personal choice for him but it does affect me. If I really don't like it, shouldn't he at least try not to smoke in front of me? He only started doing this recently, before this he used to hide the fact that he smoked (cause he knows I hate it) and lie to my face when I would ask.
- He brings home his friends porn
He swears up and down that it's not his. Fine, but if you know I don't like it then don't bring it into our home. If it is your friends property then let your friend keep it, no?

ive known this guy for almost 3 years and we were in junior high when we met but we are now in high school and we have been off and on since the first week i met him we got together after knowing him for 1 week. before that he was with my friend but she used him. every time i see him it feels like my heart is popping out of my chest and i dont know what to do. he likes my friend that used him 3 years ago and she likes him back and they always flirt and i cant stand to watch him do it...what should i do?

i'm very confused at the moment, i have this boyfriend and we keep going on and off. and i'm getting so sick of it! so this one time, we broke up AGAIN and decided not to get back together in two weeks, but it became shorter than that. and now SOME people knows we're going out and the others think we're not. I like the feeling of being single, but yet when we break up again i feel very sad. and i can't talk to my friends about it, because they think i'm single you know? and sometimes i feel like it's better off being single, but yet i really like him. and this one time when we broke up, he was about to kill himself by getting anti-depressing pills or whatever. but then he emptied it. i don't know what to do, i'm not sure if i should be sing...

Ok so Im a 18/f
umm well I like this guy hes 22 and he seems to like me back. we have a lot in common, we go to the same church and for me thats a big plus.
the thing is that well sometimes i get the impression that he really likes me and this kinda worries me sometimes because of the age gap.im afraid that hed either play me because im younger or want a super serious relationship because of his age. i really dont know what i would do if he ask me out. my friends tell me that guys his age already think of marriage and Im definitely not ready for that but I do have feelings for this guy but I dont know what I should do

So about 3 months ago my boyfriend and I broke up and we weren't in the best of spirits together. Well he went to Vermont to see his family and get away and figure things out.
He has been gone for 2 months and we have gotten back together.
He is coming back in 2 weeks and I want advice on some cheap and romantic things to do when he gets back. He comes home at 1:30 in the morning so I was thinking to go star gazing but I was just curious if any one had any more ideas to make it extra romantic?

Okay so im 20 yrs old. Im bisexual and i have a girlfriend that ive been with for a year and a half now. I love her to death. she is a great person. when were good were great and im very happy. but when we fight its absolutely horrible. weve gotten in physical fights before where ive walked away with a black eye and fat lip. (shes alot bigger than I am). it hasnt been physical lately but some of the things she says are just horrible. for example, my mom is an alcoholic and when we fight shell call me an alcoholic (when i dont drink often and she drinks just as often as i do). shell tell me ill be alone the rest of my life. she calls me a hick and a redneck (which im not.. no offense to those who are) just bc shes from nyc and shes hispanic ...

what is the key to getting a boyfriend, and staying with him?
some might say confidence, others may say loyalty, and other important traits such as that, but im wondering, what worked for you in the past? was it just chance that brought you together or did you work on attracting a certain person by displaying confidence or whatever.
im wondering this because i havent gone out with anyone since 2 years ago, guys just dont seem interested.
