fed up with backstabbing coworkers

I work in a large superstore in the clothing department. There are 8 ladies including myself in this department. I get along with everyone but have noticed in the last several weeks there has been a lot of backstabbing behind the scenes. One lady got a promotion and now some of them are jealous. Another lady is always complaining and very negative, and another one is angry because her hours have been cut. How can I stay positive when this is going on? It's very stressful. Does anyone have any advice?

17/f. My boyfriend and I are very close and have a very loving, trusting relationship. We don't argue at all, he's not pushy in any way. Sometimes we joke around with eachother playfully, just saying sarcastic things, like the other day he came over when I was just getting out of the shower and was standing at the bottom of the steps playfully saying things like "Come on" "hurry up" "put some clothes on so I can see you," just jokingly telling me to hurry up. Well my mom picked up on that and didn't understand the joking tone, and now she's somehow thinking that he's being controlling or obsessive. Little Mermaid...ugh, lame I know

I have to admit, I loathe the cartoon "The Little Mermaid." Hate it to death. So today, my 6-year-old sister was watching it and driving me insane, but there was one song that caught my ear in the middle of the film, I think when that stupid girl was sitting in the boat with the prince. It had a sort of Latin beat. The lyrics are really repetitive, mostly like "sha-la-la-la kiss the girl..." Does anyone know this song? This sounds idiotic, but I want to know

My absolute best friend in the world.. will not stop talking about killing herself. She lives about half an hour away from me and when I ask her to hang out with me, all she does is say "oh it's about time you asked".. I respond with "I'm sorry.. exams and stuff were in January and you know it wasn't a good month..". And then I asked her to go to this concert that my friend's band is in and she said "No, I'll be the ugly duckling among all those beautiful swans. I'm sick of being the ugly duckling." barking goes on till 2am

my dog is a maltese and turning 2 years old [ i guess 14 in dog years ] and lately has been barking a lot at night. he used to when he first got here but stopped. about a week ago he started to bark after everyone goes to sleep. so i have to keep going down stairs and wake up and either hit his cage or take him out to the garage for him to run around and come in...but he keeps barking a few minutes after i go up. what should i do? should i try to tire him out by running with him or something right before we go to sleep? or will that have an opposite effect and have him wanting to play more? please i'm desperate - i havn't been able to sleep at all because i'm the only one who is willing to go downstairs. thanks in advance.

Disney World

Hey! I'm going to Disney World on Friday morning because we don't have school on Friday or the following Monday. We're driving back on Monday. It's a 7-8 hour drive. Well, I found out today that we're having a huge test next Wednesday! Since I'll be in Disney World, I don't know if I'll have time to study a lot, and there is a ton of information for the test (like at least 5 pages typed). What should I do in order to have fun and be prepared?

13/f ok so ive been going out with this guy(lets call him bill) for 10 months now and i LOVE THE KID TO DEATH but i get REALLY jelous sometimes. like just today my friend hugged him and he hugged her and it just botherd me SO MUCH!!!! i know he loves me and would never hurt me but its just weird i guess. and we play "mind games" with eachother. for example he'll say a joke and ill pretend to take it personally and he'll be like "o im sorry i love you blah blah blah" or the other way around. and it just starts getting annoying. but its the only way we really flirt. i love him but i think im a bitch to him sometimes too!!! so i think he deserves ALOT more than me so i dont know if i should break up with him or not. i mean....

So this popular guy liked me in middle school and I hated him back then because he was a bully. Fast forward to four years later, I've had a crush on him for three years. We kept staring at each other all the time for the past while. I just started talking to him and smiling at him last week. When the week ended he got into his car and drove away.
