Does anyone know ways to start a conversation with someone? A way that doesn't make you seem like a rambling idiot. Lately there have been many of those "awkward silences" in conversations I have with people.

Friend trouble.

I seem to be fading apart with many people I was once close friends with. I do not know why. Whenever I talk to them, it just isn't the same. I've tried talking to some of them about it before, but it just gets...awkward. Does anyone have any advice about how to become better friends again.
Just don't say that I should hang out with them more. That doesn't seem to help at all.

College in fall

17/f. My mom is vehemently against my going to college in the fall of this year, she wants me to wait a year. I applied to various schools without her knowledge or consent because I'm not willing to wait a year before going. I sent off my enrollment deposit to the school I'm going to and I've been working with my principal and my Gifted and Talented coordinator, trying to get my mom in to a meeting to discuss the prospects of me going in fall. Well, she's refused to go to the meeting, thinks I'm still waiting a year. I have to send in the tuition and housing deposit and forms to my school, and they have to be signed by a parent since I'm under 18, but I called the school and explained my situation and they agreed that I could sign it myself...

Ok so i got this friend i have known for like 4 years now. I been on messenger talking to her mom alot. Her and her mom are always arguing. Then her mom says she thinks that my friend is cutting herself in the bathroom and all this. Then her mom said that she has caught her doing some thing on the webcam. And then her mom says she is talking bout moving with this 21 year old she met over the internet bout a month or so ago. And she hasnt had time to really get to know this person. What is something i can do or say to her that will help her cause i am getting really concerned as far as her and i am not one to get concerned hardly but i am real concerned as far as her.

i have to write an eassy on a socail issue. i was thinking about teen sex and pregancy about pros and cons about it. the more i think about it the more it makes me think that i couldnt write an eassy about. my question is
1) is it possible to write an eassy about that?
2) what is a good social issue that isnt as known? like abortion i know a lot of perople that are going to do it.

in the morning I usually cleanse with facial wash, exfoliate, use astringent, put on moisturizing sunblock and then put on foundation & other makeup. Is this okay for my skin? Is there anything that I should add, take away or change? I will rate high.
