natural talent?

I've been singing for about 7 years now, and I think it's time I started taking voice lessons. My mom insists that I have no natural talent. She's only heard me once, and at the time, I was so nervous that I didn't sound good. My mom said that if I had natural talent, then it would show up when I was a little kid. However, my choir teacher tells me I'm an incredible singer, and she's the type that never lies to make someone feel good. When I was a little kid, my chest voice wasn't so great and I didn't know how to use my head voice. I'm 13 right now, and a mezzo-soprano (though I have almost a three octave range). So do you have to be talented as a little kid to be a talented singer?

friend & anorexia

Well, there's this girl. Me and her used to be best friends a couple years ago but now we're just okay. We talk once in a while but I still care about her, as a friend of course. Anyways, lately she has been talking SO much about her weight and how she's fat but that thing is, she's not! She's at least 130 and she's pretty tall.
On her xanga she puts how much she eats and how much she will exercise and it's scaring me. I want to tell my mom because her mom is friends with mine but I'm afraid it's going to be my fault for telling her.
There is NO way that I can talk her into not doing it. Many of us have tried to tell her the bad things that can happen, that she can gain more weight that way but she doesn't care...

Swimming Alone..

Does anyone know of some fun things i could do in a pool by myself?? I dont have time to go shopping because i'm going to go swimming in a few minutes and i dont think we have those diving sticks anymore and even if we do..that gets boring very easily..any ideas?

hiya,
well... am 13 n i havn't EVER had a boyfriend! im not tht bad lukin but am sorta big.
Im 13 and i waigh 11 stone! im on a diet atm wich is workin 4 me.. am goin to the gym and so on.
How can i let myself get a boyfriend? any beuty tips or anything.. plus i have bags under my eyes! please help! x

My cat has been gaging like he's going to puke but then he dosn't and he does it especialy when you pick him up. Also he's breathing out of his mouth. I know for sure that theres nothing stuck in his throat... and the weirdest part is that my other cat is starting to do it now too. Does anyone know what might be causing it. Im really woried and dont have the money to go to the vet. Please Help.

i've liked this guy for 2 months.. a few weeks ago, i found out that one of my best friends likes him again [ they went out in the beginning of the year ]... he likes her. this girl always gets who she wants, and i don't know why, she dumps everyone she goes out with after she gets bored with them. i really like this guy but he likes her. is there anything i can do to make him see me and not her?

My dance studio is interested in creating a website to host information on it. How can I go about making one? It needs to be absolutely free. And preferably no ads.
I need something that will help make it look professional.

discharge

ever since about 3 or 4 years ago [ i am 13] i have been getting discharge. i use to wear pantiliners everyday but that got annoying, so i stopped. this discharge is like white and even a little yellow sometimes. i know that it is normal when i have my period, but i get it all the time. is this normal? can i do anything to stop this?

Okay I went out with this boy a grade ahead of me thinking i liked him (Let's call him George). It turned out i didn't really know George so I dumped him three days later. Now George is obbsesssed with me and I can't stand it. He keeps telling me how hot and beutiful I am and it's driving me insane! Yesterday I went to an amusement park and I was hanging out with my friends and the new boy that I like (lets call him Bob). George kept following us around EVERYWHERE. Crazy Dad

My parents and I really don't get along because my dad sets double standards between my sister and I.
Well he makes himself impossible to live with. He always says stuff like "I'll smack you in the face if you dont do this.." and the sad part is I'm 18 years old. Yeah I should just move out, but I don't have the financial means to.
It's driving me crazy. I can't seem to do anything right, and he always is quick to point out things I do poorly in rather then see the things I sucueed in.
What should I do?

Ok..soo i like this guy named Joe and he knows some of the guys at my school. Well the guys at my school dont really like me because something happened about a month back and they just think im confusing to deal with. Well..i think the guys have told Joe about me..and have talked bad about me. Im really upset because ive tried to apologize to those guys but they wont accept..they just hate me. How do i get those guys to at least be nice to me or better yet friends. I mean i dont want ppl giving me a bad name.
