Neighbors and the "bro code"

18, female, freshman in college. I will apologize ahead of time because this is gonna be kinda long and a little hard to follow and a bit rambly but I'll try my best. I live in a co-ed dorm at school. We are the only dorm on campus that is co-ed by door, every other one is all one gender or co-ed by wing or floor. Across from me is a really cute boy, Collin, I thought he was cute for the longest time. Collin's roommate's name is Vinny. Vinny is a very outgoing guy, he can talk to anybody and joke about a lot of things. Collin can talk to people but he isn't as outgoing, he's usually in his room playing guitar or studying but he does talk to most people on our floor. Except for me. This kid will not say a single word to me, every time I pass...

So hey. I sometimes like to assume the roles of imaginary people, usually men older than me, and talk to people who aren't there. I do this only when I'm alone. My favorite characters have relationships and backstories and all that. I'm always aware I'm doing it and it's not involuntary or anything, though sometimes I'll see through the perspective of one of the characters or feel their emotions, or wonder how they would handle a situation or sometimes go to them for conversation or advice. Am I insane? I'm pretty sure this isn't a normal activity all the hip kids are doing

Should I visit and give things to my incarcerated daughter

my 22 year old daughter is incarcerated for a year for fraud charges. I am unable to have much sympathy for her about this because she committed a crime even though I never told her it was OK to participate in illegal activities, embarrassed herself and her entire family, set a bad example for her younger sister, and this is her punishment and maybe it will be a good learning experience and toughen her up.
I wonder if I should visit her. I hear it may take a month to get visits. Is visiting also something that should be encouraged or is it seen as too enabling or encouraging to the person inside. I don't want to give anyone (especially her younger sibling) the id...

Overwhelmed

Im just feeling so overwhelmed. I have a short fuse and my tempers flare. Im emotional and my blood pressure does rise and its always high because of my emotional being. This week I had a lot to do. Im a freshman in highschool and middle school never prepares you for the work. So I'm still getting the hang of it. I did tutorials afterschool to bring my algebra grade up because I do not want to fail first semester while simultaneously trying to do debate. That didn't work out well because that class is very extracurricular and I have no ride lets put it that way. Anyway, as soon as I got a hang of it, I couldn't go to any tournament because I failed algebra on my last report card. ...

Need Advice About Having Feelings For People That One Would Never Date

I seem to be having an issue lately.
I have feelings for three girls. I know that neither of them would date me.
The first one I've known for over 10 years and we dated for a while, but she determined that we weren't good enough for each other to be in a relationship with each other. I still have feelings for this girl but she doesn't have feelings for me. I'm guessing that this could be because she is a different religion then I am and the fact that I'm not doing much with my life, or maybe something else, but I know she won't date me.

Okay well I'm 12 and I really like this guy he's 18 don't say he's to old because I'll never date him obviously me and him used to be really close but he sent me a pic of him in his underwear and told me to send 1 to him but didn't want to so I told his girlfriend(my role model she's 16)he found out and is telling me I must leave him alone and never talk to him again. sorry this is super long, i just overflowed... i always come here for my deepest problems. i'd greatly appreciate any help, you don't even know. nobody else but you guys to help me out
I've never felt that close with other people. It's so easy for me to strike up a conversation with anyone, but I'm horrible at maintaining and developing them. Most people I knew throughout school were just varying degrees of acquaintance. It seemed the older I got, the harder it was for me to form close bonds. I had 3-4 best friends in elementary school and that's the most I've ever had.

I posted this picture of this girl with "semen" on her face on twitter to get her to contact me so I could find out if she was still doing things with my babys father because she kept ignoring me and no one would tell me the truth. She called me begged me to take it down and pretty much acted like we were cool and friends not actually hating eachother.
a couple of weeks later her friend is blasting me on facebook about the situation and my babys father threatened to post the pic again and she deleted everything and messaged us apologizing. that incident upset me but I let it go.

Can't decide who to job shadow?

Okay so I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I have to do a project where I have to job shadow someone in a career field that I'm interested. Well, I have two offers and I can't decide which to do.
The first one is job shadowing a local book publisher. I'm interested in this because I absolutely look books/reading and would love to have a future career involving them somehow, so I thought this would be an interesting thing to learn about and see if I'm interested.
THe other option I have is to job shadow someone from UCR who works in the international students department. I love foreign languages, culture, etc., and also think this would be extremely interesting. Over the summer I volunteered at a college with foreign e...

Hi, im a 13 year old girl. My friend (guy) & i were txting the other night. I asked him if he was mad at me like 3 times & he said we r not friends anymore bc im trying to make him mad (i wasnt) He cussed at me and then i cussed him out and then he cussed at me again and called me a hoe.... Why isn't google chrome loading on my laptop?

Everytime I try to use google chrome it says it has encountered a problem and it closes. Finally when I get to use it, It won't load any websites I type in the address bar. This has been happening for days now. Right when I click something in a webpage, it will say at the top "Chrome is not responding". Sometimes it won't even load the home page. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it keeps doing the same thing. What is wrong with google chrome?
