Which one first?

I was wondering if anyone knows which to do first...Eat and then Exercise or Exercise and then eat. I was also wondering how long you should exercise each day and which types to do. It is almost time to hit the pool, so i need something to help with abs and legs. Does anyone know if the routines in Seventeen and CosmoGirl work? Please write back if anyone has any suggestions. I want to lose fat in my thighs stomach and arms. What are some things I can do to lose weight at home besides running outside, sit ups and push ups? And what can I buy (that's not expensive) to help?

Need motivation

I'm 19, 5'8, and I weigh close to 180 pounds. I used to weigh around 200, so I've lost quite a bit. But I also used to weigh 150-- I had an eating disorder. I'm like up and down with weight and I hate it. How do I stay at a healthy weight, once and for all? Help!

birth control.

so i started taking birth control in octoberish for cramps, and since then i have gained a huge amount of weight. i am so insecure with my body, and no matter how much i work out or watch what i eat it doesn't change and i can't lose weight. do certain pills alter results such as gaining weight? should i talk to my doctor about it? ah.. :( :(

i want to go swimming this year

almost every year i dont go swimming because i am a soccer player so i have HUGE thighs, and when i wear jeans it cool. but i cant wear shorts or anything. and then because im 13 i have a little bit of a tummy. and i want to get rid of that too. and fast. so..
- how can i get rid of tummy fat (not alot)
- how can i make my tighs smaller
- i have like rolls on my side when i like reach over the side. how can i get rid of those
- and how can i do this all in less than 5 weeks

ps. i have an hourglass figure already.

fat and muscle

in my thighs, is there any way to exercise away fat AND muscle?? because i have a very lean frame, but i havnt always been really skinny, so now i have a lot of fat and muscle in my thighs, can i take them both away to get my lean figure back??

okay soo i really have the motivation too get my stomach to be muscle/flat other than what it is now. and i know its realistic because im not "fat" i just have a chubby belly i guess idk how else to explain it. and loosing weight would be cool.

also now that im am getting out of school in 3 weeks i will have time to excercise in the mornings or whenever.

i need help on figuring out what i should do everyday. if i make a list i know i could follow it..im very good at those kind of things.

4-h camp is coming & I'm fat

Okay I am so big. I weigh 186 pounds! But I'm tall so that helps. But the doctor says I should weight 145. What do I do. I am going to 4-h camp in ONE month does anyone know what I can do to lose my stomach and leg fat?

I was just switched into an alternative class so after my first class i have to sign out leave the school and walk a couple blocks to my alternative class if 'm doing this for the rest of the year i do you think i could lose 5 pounds not to mention the fact we have to run half a mile for gym every other day what do you think?

Abs/dietary issues

Ok, I'm 18/m and have an excess amount of fat around the mid section. Currently I am living on my own, have been for about 2 years now and have never felt more alive and well. Heres my problem, my gf is about to have her prom, and I wanna look my best for her as she is going to try to look her best for me. I have never had abs, this is, in my mine, one of the best looking thing a guy can do for his body is have abs, now, to my question. How can I get abs? Currently I alternate sit-ups 150 one day and rest then repeat and have been doing this for about 1 week now, i ride my bike to work every day except on my day off, work is about 5 or 6 km away, takes half an hour each way, but my diet isn't that great. ok im overweight. im about 158 pounds and im 13. i dont really look fat unless i wear tight clothing, im not like the people that have a double chin or rolls that stick out.

so my question is, how do i lose weight before june 14? like i want to weigh 120 and look good in a tankini. i dont really want to do heavy excercising

Stretch Marks?

Hi, I have horizontal white stretch marks on my hips. i think it is because I grew taller quickly. Do you know what white stretch marks mean. Did i loos or gain weight. Did I grow taller quickly like I think? Also I REALLY want to get rid of them. i have been using BIO OIL for about a week now. What do you recommend I use? Have you used BIO OIL? If so what did you think? Thank you!

Hi there! I'm 15/f. So since about January, I've been working out, trying to loose weight. I've been eating healthy and everything. I've actually lost some weight. My clothes fit looser. Expecially my jeans. Well, here latley, for the past couple weeks, I've been slakin on working out. I usually work out everyday, except Saturday's and Tuesday's. Well, I'm getting really mad at myself because I haven't been working out. I don't know if it's because I'm sick, like, I have a cough, stuffy nose, so maybe thats why, or if I'm just getting tired of it. So can anyone give me some advice on how to get back on track?? so im sick and tied of kids calling me fat, i know im not fat just could lose a few pounds.
so im 5'4 and 118 pounds. i have round hips and a pooch on my lower belly.
my arms look like man arms and my thighs touch.
i would really like to lose my pouch loase arm fat and i already have a lot of muscle on my arms, and then i would like it if my thighs did not touch and my calfs were a little slimmer. i used to be a dancer since i was very little and i was skinny then, and thats why i have a lot of muscle.
also i get a really strong motivation to work out for like a day then i give up.

so my question is how can i lose all that i would like? and how to i keep up my motivation??

my BMR & bMI..

ok well im 16 female 120 lbs. & 5'8". my BMI was 18.1 (i just calculated) and my BMR was 1421.4. what does all this mean? im dieting, and ive lost 11 lbs so far (i was 131) does this affect it? i know what BMI & BMR are, but i just dont know what my RESULTS mean. help? any appriciated, thanks :)

What are some great work outs I can do for my lower abs, mainly? I'd rather not actually lose weight all over, because I like the erm, other assets, haha, but I'd just like to lose the bit of belly fat I've got.
Keep in mind, I don't have any workout equipment, other than a stationary bike at my Dad's house (who I see on the weekends), and a set of six pound weights.
Please try to be specific if describing any work outs, and I'd like to see results fairly quickly..

Okay, so my friend and I were ranting about stretchmarks to each other, and how we both have them on our theighs/she has them on her knees, as well. We were both wondering a few things:
Why do we have these, are they normal, and how can we get rid of them?

Also, we're going to the beach with some guy friends in June/July. So, we're both at average weights for our sizes, but we each have what you could call a 'muffin top', or whatever. We've each got muscle under that from doing crunches, so we're not sure what else to do to really help? We'd like to lose the lower belly fat by June or July, so what's something we could quickly do?

i really want to look good in a swim suit this year. so these are all the things i need help with. i would like for these things to be uick result i understand im not going to see overnight results. but just SOMETHING maybe in two weeks or so.

ohkay so you know how when people grab their stomach 'fat' (im just justifying the area im talking about)well i dont want that. and i have that. so how do i tone that so that i can get that to not be there. (i dont want to do cruches) something that i can see quicker results with.
