Okay, so my friend and I were ranting about stretchmarks to each other, and how we both have them on our theighs/she has them on her knees, as well. We were both wondering a few things:
Why do we have these, are they normal, and how can we get rid of them?
Also, we're going to the beach with some guy friends in June/July. So, we're both at average weights for our sizes, but we each have what you could call a 'muffin top', or whatever. We've each got muscle under that from doing crunches, so we're not sure what else to do to really help? We'd like to lose the lower belly fat by June or July, so what's something we could quickly do?
As for as your muffin top you are right in that you have muscles under from doing crunches. The problem is that crunches build muscle and don't get rid of fat. In order to lose the excess fat covering your muscles you are going to have to lose body fat. Eating less calories daily is the quickest way to losing belly fat. Also doing interval training on a elliptical or treadmill will work also.

I'm not sure why you have them, they can be caused by many different things. Also, when you go on your beach trip, don't worry about it. If your stomach looks muscular, that's good. Do some workout videos so you will get a lot of muscles. Hope this helps. [ ccupcake07's advice column | Ask ccupcake07 A Question ]
