I'm giving a speech tomorrow, and it's about "my basketball court" now ive wriiten everything im going to say - EXCEPT the introuction!
which, according to my teacher, is super important!
With that said, here comes my question..
I don't want to say "hey my name is.. and im going to talk about my basketball court" i want a fun way of introducing my speech!
something about the actual game, BASKETBALL, or the basketball court..
I know this is a total challenge for you,
but you're totally a good writer..so thats why im asking.
So thank you - you are truly amazing if you help me with this.
I've been brainstorming but it's not coming to me!

Ok, ex guy of mine. He and I are cool. Except, I don't know how I really think of him. I think of him more now than I did when I went with him. It's awkward to even look at him and I can barely stand his presence.I know he cheated on me and that doesn't make things too bad b/c I know why he did it. My fault really b/c he couldn't see me outside school, but it was his fault too. And why does he sit behind me talking to a girl that he's interested in. Not my business, yet can he at least have the respect to do that somewhere else. And why when I rolled my eyes at him, did he feel the need to ask me if we are cool when that thing rolled his eyes at me and said things to me that I didn't like when I accidentally said something or looked at him....

I'm going to get right to it. Ok, last year, I became really good friends with this guy that I met in my freshman year. He's like a cousin to me, and he's almost literally apart of our family (although he isn't related to us as I thought). Anyway, we used to wrestle, talk on the phone like a lot, and we used to be so close. And this year, my sophmore year, it's like I don't even exist. I know his new girlfriend and she wouldn't tell him to behave this way. My question, what's his problem. I've even asked him what his problem is and I've given him space. Ahh! I feel like me and my family are ALWAYS being tricked!!
Me and my family moved from America to Europe 5 years ago. My mother has still not mastered the language over here, and people use that as a way of tricking her and using her! And it makes me feel so bad, i cry just thinking about it!!
I'll give you a recent example,...
we were paying way too much for our internet, so we switched to another company. The first internet company we had (chello) told us they needed 3 months.. whatever youc all it.. like we'd have them as our internet company for 3 more months and then it would shut off and we could start using our new company. ok so my girl said that she was on the pill so we had sex and i came inside of her, but then she told me she had been nin the sominican republic and been off the pill, so now we're real worried that she might get pregnent. now i came inside of her, but she was on the pill before that and she has both highly heavy and irregular periods. so im hoping that cut the chances of pregnancy down, is there anything else we can do to cut down the chances of pregnancy. and please no lectures. just help. we're real scared

A complex situation

I have been dating this girl for about 4 months now. We were friends for the past two years though. She went through this horrible breakup with her ex-boyfriend and a major debacle with one of her best friends. She says she loves me, but at times it is like I don't exist or even matter to her anymore. I try to be nice you know, but still she has to be mean to me. I admit I am to blame because I put "words in her mouth." Only because I don't know how she feels about me. I don't know what she thinks of me anymore. I feel unloved. Friend trouble

Please help! My best friend has all of a sudden since she got back from her clubbing holiday started seeing this guy. I know he isnt right and his family do drugs and it wouldnt suprise me if he did aswell, my friend doesnt see any wrong in him and is going on dates with him thinking hes 'sweet' and caring. Im not jealous its just since she came back from her holiday she still acts like shes in ibiza, trying to get with all the guys. I dont know what to think/to do. your advice please... thank you!!

so at school i am very shy with my boyfriend but i will kind of talk to him, but as soon as i try to talk to him on thee phone i cant so i just never pick up his calls. i feel absolutely horrible but how do i make myself more confident for being able to talk on the phone? thank you!

to start off i am 15/female.. but okay, so i have liked this one kid for like.. at least 2 years now and he knows.. so anyways i will probably ALWAYS like him but that has really nothing to do with what im asking.. but anyways, almost a year ago i met this other kid and im pretty good friends with him now, but him & one of my friends have been going out now for almost 9 months.. and since ive spent a lot of time with him & what not im starting to like him more and more.. but its only SOMETIMES that i feel like i like him.. i feel wierd just typing this, but when im around him he just always makes me laugh & im not sure if i just love him company or if i actually like him.. i dont know what to do.. ahh its wierd.

I met a girl at a party this weekend and ever since, we've talked for hours every day. I know she really likes me, and I'm starting to feel the same about her. She seems like she's the kind of person who dates for fun, though..and doesn't take it seriously. I'm all about having fun, but that's not all dating is, and I'm afraid she might think it is. I'm afraid she'll drop me quickly because she seems like she gets bored easily.
