has anyone seen a movie called Carmen Jones? In my social studies class I have to make a stamp on this lady called Dorothy Dandridge, for black history month. I have no idea what to do for the stamp, so please give me ideas. But like she was famous because she was the first African American to be nominated for the Academy Award in the Best Actress category and the third African American to receive a nomination in any category overall (after Hattie McDaniel and Ethel Waters). And she was nominated for her movie called Carmen Jones.. would it be okay if I watched the film? I'm 13 years old, and Im not sure if it will be like.. not for my age. Bringing girls in

I am a single guy just turned 33, on a visit overseas staying with my elder brother (Mid 40s), his wife (mid 40s)and 4 kids (oldest bening 16 year old girl, youngest being 4 year old boy) I have been staying with them for almost 3 months now, have made a few girlfriends who want to know my house and certainly would want to get physical, but I dont know if it is all right to bring girls to the house and in my room, my room not even having a key, even though i stay alone there and the younger kids have the habit of barging in. Kind of funny problem, right? And by the way, we are black Africans. Whites tend to be more liberal about this kind of things than blacks. Just wanna know what u guys think before I make a decision. how do you lose a crush? im a 13 year old girl and i cant stop liking some guy! well, hes cute and nice and all, and sometimes i remind myself of their flaws if they really have any, but it doesnt help. infact, ive never really stopped liking my crushes.. when i was younger, from like first grade to 3rd, crushes were basically meaningless. then from 4th grade on, like my main crush in 4th, 5th, and 6th, if i saw them, i'd still kinda have a crush on them.. and now i like 2 guys, but i dunno who i like better, either............... gosh middle school is hard. and like whenever i hear love songs and stuff i always think of the guys i like! lol

Hair Color

hey i just dyed my hair dark brown, in december..
well now im thinking i wanna get thick streaks of platinum blonde.
i know this sounds gross but my uncle's a hairdresser for the big names.
He's done fashion shows and Dixie chicks and Shania Twain, Britney Spears, Xtina Aguliera.. anyways enough of him. I just was looking for a picture of what i might want so i could show him so he doesnt fuck up.

hard to make friends

i find it hard to be myself automatically when i meet a person. i mean, even people i've known for like a year or so, i may not have really opened up to them yet. i can only do it with some people, but others, especially really outgoing people, i kinda act shy.. when im not really like that. its weird, because im normally outgoing but i guess i dont feel comfortable or something. i talk to them and stuff, and we may even be friends, but with some people.. well.. yea. how can i be myself like automatically? its hard to answer, since we're all different... but idk!

binge eating and lack of sleep.

I keep doing it! like just eating foods for no reason. like sometimes i'll have things like too many apples, just cause they taste good, or other foods, just cause they taste good,when im not really hungry. i always try to stop it, and tell myself that i wont do it anymore, but i keep doing it! And im gaining a little pounds.. i mean i do sports so im not getting that fat, but like i dont wanna be unhealthy and get diabetes possibly. how can i stop this habit? i really want to.. but its hard. i mean, we mostly have healthy food at my house, but sometimes i'll just overeat especially when im like watching tv cuz theres nothing better to do but eat when you do that. and its hard to do stuff outside cuz of the snow, so besides sports i cant re...

What should I do for my boyfriend on Valentines day? I'm not sure if he is working that day so I don't know if I can take him to the movies.
I'm going to make him a card, but I want to get him something else.
Also, his birthday is a week after. I'm not sure what to get him. I don't have a lot of money.
And he refuses to tell me what he wants.
But even if he slips out "I want..." in conversation. He may already be getting it or someone else might get it for him.
He already has a watch, doesn't seem to like hats.

Does anyone know of the magazine 6 seven 8th? I really like the style in that magazine and if you know some of the stores where they get those clothes could you tell me? Its a fairly new mag so idk if you would know of it.... otherwise if you havnt heard of it do you know any brands that sell non-preppy,non-vintage styles? My favorite style is pac-sun and roxie so if you know any brands like that id be happy for your help.

i keep getting signs of deppression i used to be a cheerleader until i quit and iv just seemed to give up on everything im smokeing weed now i enjoy just getting drunk and stoned and iv lost all interest in boys and girls (im bi) and even sex at times i dont know what to do iv even cut my leg a couple times please help

Hello again to anyone who read/answered my other question. =)
I am debating if I should attend UBC (University of British Columbia) or find a college/university in Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates).
I am interested in pursuing in the area of advertising/marketing.
Recently, I was in Dubai at the Big Five Trade Show and I actually helped my Dad's company set up the booth. I was in charge of a team and I made many connections with sheiks and other members at Canadian Pavillion.
I would love to live in the downtown atmosphere of Vancouver and not move too far away. On the other hand, I enjoy traveling and already have slight recognition in Dubai.

Hello, recently I discovered the most suitable career area for myself is advertising and marketing. I seem to have all of the qualifications (up to this point), personality traits and interests to perfectly fit me into this career.
By the time I have graduated from high school (I am a grade ten now) and college/university nearly 10 years will have past. Right NOW, I have some great ideas for the marketing of fruits and vegetables in Canada.
