volleyball tryouts.

i'm trying out for a volleyball club team in november.. what skills should i practice now and how should i practice for it? and should I like run and stuff? How can i get in shape for it? btw I'm 13 and i've done summer volleyball once, volleyball in school (like gym), a 5 day volleyball camp in the summer (preparing us for highschool vball), 2 clinics (they were 5 week clinics.. like you came once a week) and yeah.. thats about it. i really want to make the team.. so yeah, haha i love vball. and thanks for the help! :)

so i was hurt a while ago. I didnt know that if you werent raped that its still abuse and your still effected by it. I need help talking to someone i trust alot about this i talked to her once. she went thru some of the same stuff i did probley more. and she was effected more by it because it was her dad. but i need help opening up to her agian i did once but im scared to talk to her agian i feel like she doesnt have enogh time to. the first time i talked to her about this i felt so free. and i felt like i would always feel comfortable around her, but i dont anymore cus i feel like she doesnt want to talk about it. even tho she said i could when ever i needed. i dont know what to do...

im 17/fem, and in my sophmore year of highschool. so last year, there was this nice, but really flirty teacher in my school who did something incredibly uncomfortable [for me] one time. he actually did three things, all in the same day. we were just sitting around in his classroom and he decides to sit next to me, so he sorta pushes my leg/thigh over. i ignore it. A while later, while looking towards another direction, he runs his hand from my knees down to where my leg joins the hip. i simply hop off the desk and walk away, and ignore it. then one of my classmates decides to take a picture and he gets next to me and hugs me by the waist and holds me tighter. i know he was probably taking advantage of it being the last day of the schoolyear...

hey guys. so im 17/f, and i KNOW its wrong to take an interest in a teacher, but, hey, you really can't help who your heart likes sometimes. once in a while, my feelings blind me and i think its meant to be, but im not stupid, i know its only a fixation [because i cant have him]. now, i do keep in mind that a relationship with me would cost him his job and possibly his career. but the thing is, just because he's a teacher doesn't make him any different from any other crush. he's still a very young,attractive, charming man, and quite frankly, i think he may like me as well. i can't avoid him, because i take two of his classes [which i can't switch], but i want to get him out of my head. he makes me so nervous, and his classes suck because of...

Okay well there are these two boys , mike & kev !well i like them both and they like me back to. me and mike have been "talking" and he has told two of his friends that his was going to ask me out then he goes off and tells this one girl that he ALSO likes and says yeah im not going to ask her out. and at the football game tonight he told this girl , Leah that he liked me but he didnt want to date me. and me and kev are cool im pretty sure he likes me and i like him so ill see how we do. but it is just mike that i need help with and his phone just recently broke so i cant text or call . so please help me. WHAT SHOULD I DO !!!??

Close minded

My boyfriend is very close minded. He is totally against drinking, smoking, drugs, dying your hair, peircings, tattoos, etc. He freaks out when I say I want to do any of these things, especially without him. What can I do to make him more open minded?

I love my boyfriend very much but when we disagree on something, he automatically becomes arrogant, angry, sarcastic, and mean. I dont know how to make him be nicer to me and just TALK to me. I wish he was a lot nicer sometimes.

I miss my boyfriend all the time. I always want to call him, see him, talk to him, and have him call me. I get really upset when I have to go hours with talking to him or seeing him. It is starting to ruin our relationship and make him take me for granted. How do I fix this and not want to call him or see him as much and put myself back in control and have him miss me and want to see me and talk to me again? Thanks!

i know girls are thought of as weak, and its just SO "normal" for us to be moody all the time but im sure others wonders the same: what kind of curse is this? im not talking about the stereotype, but about the actual hormones that make me this way. i was diagnosed with clinical depression less than a year ago, and its just getting the best of me. my feelings are screwed up, and being toyed with, and i feel so lonely. this life is so stupid, so pointless, and so confusing. i've been thinking about suicide a lot for the longest. im not saying im going to do it, cause im stronger than that, but now i understand people that feel there's no way out. i just dont think anything's worth it anymore. i know im not special, but no one seems ...

party on halloween or the weekend before?

My family is having a Halloween, party mainly because we have no plans on Halloween, and me and my friends and my brother all don't want to go trick or treating. We figure it's a good idea since probably most people don't have plans besides handing out candy haha. But then we thought, well Halloween is on a school night, and what if people can't stay late, and also what if some of our friends have plans, like trick or treating anyways? That makes us think we should do it on the weekend because there might be more people and we could party as long as we want. But if we do that, none of us (nor my friends!) will have anything to do on Halloween :[ So there is pros and cons to both. What would you do if you were in this situation?! Thanks!!!!

how do you know when someone plays notes on the keys if its: do re mi fa sol la ti or do? and you cant see the notes but have to hear it? my pianos outta tune and i dont really get it. all C notes are do. i can differentiate between any of the notes played? maybe i just need to hear the notes more? but i would need to know all octaves or w/e its called.. all res and whatever.

cloudy eye?

I noticed today that one of my dog's eyes is like cloudy. If it matters its the left one. What could this be? I looked online and it said it could be from lack of calcium or something like that, but i'm pretty sure my dog gets enough calcium. Could he be blind in one eye?
he's a wire fox terrier, male, almost 3 years old.

My Back

For the last couple days my back has been hurting really bad. It's in between my shoulder blades and doesnt really hurt until night. Like right now. I have tried stretching it but it isnt changing. I cant do anything to make it feel better and its really bugging me! Please Help!!! I will rate all your helpful advice! :D

Tampon help...

Ok, i tried putting in a tampon and i wasnt tense or anything because i really want to be able to use them! anyway i cant get mine to go all the way in. actually i cant really get it to go in at all. i know where its supposed to go but it feels really uncomfortable when im trying to put it in. does it just do that the first couple times? and once i get it in i will get used to it and all that? thansk for your help and i will rate all helpful advice! :D
