Acanthosis Nigricans.

A dermatoligist told me I had Acanthosis Nigricans, which is basicly a darkness of skin around the neck(have it), Armpit(have it), and groin(have THAT too) oh and the uncommon places where I have it are the inside of my elbow and knuckles.
The doctor said it might go away if I lose weight. Well I was diagnosed with AN in like July of this year, and I haven't lost any weight.. Ive actually probably gained.
Im going to the Hostpital Tuesday for a blood test again, to see if im a Daibetic. I dont wanna be diabetic im only 14.. and if I am I might die. And im not over exagerating.. my condition of NA is being obese, and that means im insulin resistant which means that I cant take the medication i need..
I wanna lose weight...

Confused about the Future

Ok, I don't know why I'm stressing over this now but
I'm stressfully debating over what type of career I should have when I'm older. And I know its way too early for this and I have time but it just keeps bothering me. I do a lot of activities that involve creativity (music, mock trial, school newspaper) and I'm a good writer and everything so you'd think I should be a journalist or lawyer, right? Well, lately I've had this desire to be a psychiatrist. I'm not the most math and science-oriented person (especially math) but last year I took biology, did well in the class, and actually really enjoyed it. Birthday Presents/Christmas Presents

There is a guy I like and we have been talking for awhile and his 18th birthday is coming up on December 5th. I don't know if I should get him anything. I was thinking I would make him some cookies or something, but then again is that kinda dumb? We are both seniors in high school. I also don't know what to get him for Christmas. If we do end up dating. Even if we don't end up dating, I still want to get him something. I need ideas, he would basically be my first real boyfriend, and I want to get him something that he'll remember me by. Also, he plays football and baseball and likes sports in general. If you could give me any help at all I would appreciate it! (Btw...one idea I had was to make him one of the fleece-tie blankets!?!?)

i know everyone hates these, but i really need a song about being hurt, particularly in a relationship/by another person. i broke up with my boyfriend, but it was because he really hurt me.
maybe something saying how everything was perfect, then it was all screwed up so quick.. still feelin the pain and dont know what to do.. i dont know.
id love a slower song, but not slow slow if possible.

okay well theres this girl. and shes one of my best friends..like we used to talk on the phone like every day and know everything about eachother and stuff. now it kinda seems like were more distant and stuff. like we always used to invite eachother when we hung out with our other friends. but then today she invited our friend to lunch and the girl she invited was like texting me and she was like did ___ invite you to lunch? and i was like no.. what are you talking about? and we both thought that was weird bc ___ always invites me. i think shes just mad though bc me and the other girl hung out a few days ago without her. but then i texted her jokingly and was like way to invite me to lunch... and she was with our another one of our friends ...

so i don't really wear alot of makeup and mainly because i dont have the right makeup and or i don't know how to apply it haha lame i know, and well i really want to get into wearing makeup
okay but for christmas i get to get all new MAC makeup and everythingg so im physced but im scared that i won't know how to apply it and look like a complete mess and will buy the wrong things. so basically what's the very first step on putting everything on and stuff. my friend says i only need powders because i have good skin, but i dont know. Should i only use bronzer and the compact? But i want my skin to look smooth and not all powdery.

short story - good idea?

i'm writing my short story about this poor orphan kid named tommy who lives in london, england in the late 1930s and he steals stuff because he's poor and has nothing better to do with his life and one day this leads him to this abandoned ally and he finds this rusty old lookin tea pot so he sees no hard in takin it and we he takes it back to his shack he discovers it was actually a genie's lamp. the genie gives him his three wishes and then they have to switch places so tommy is the genie and the genie is the master and the genie really is the cause of wwII. is this a good idea?

I'm a senior in hs applying for colleges and I've been filling out the application and I'm really scared. I don't have very much experience in clubs and organizations at all, I hardly have any awards or honors, and I haven't done very much community service either, especially any community service that I do annually which is what colleges like.
So I'm kind of nervous. What should I do? It's november, and most applications are due pretty quickly, is there any time left for me? Obviously I can't try to be president of a club because those things are already set so late in the year, and I've joined many more clubs this year than the last three years, but what else can I do? Will any college accept me with my lack of experience i...

Music Video

So I saw this music video and I thought that it was really cool but I don't know the name of the song or the artist. If you've ever seen any music video like the one I'm about to describe please tell me the name of the song and the artist.
The video starts off and this girl is riding a bike down the middle of a street at night, she has kinda emo-ish hair. Then 4 or 6 guys on bikes come out behind her, they have like animal costume heads on. They clap and stuff and then they go back behind her. That happens a couple of times and then the guys start doing stunts. That's all I remember. Sorry that I don't have that much information. Thanks for trying to help.

Is it true that after about a year the SPF on sun screen weakens? Do I really need to buy new sun screen every summer or can I just use up the stuff left over from the summer before?

Need to look good

I need to impress a guy on Monday...what can I do to look good?
I have a lot of clothes and tons of makeup, so anything you can suggest would be helpful.
I'm tall with very pale skin, dark brown hair (almost black) that's about an inch past my shoulders. It's naturally slightly wavy and I can either straighten it (I usually get a lot of compliments if I do) or curl it (haven't tried and not quite sure how). My eyes are brown also, I have full lips and an oval-shaped face.
Any ideas of what to wear, how to do my hair/makeup...anything?

well, the title says it all. guys don't find me attractive. don't get me wrong, i'd know if i was hideous, but i'm not. all my girl friends say i'm gorgeous, but guys just don't. i have like big boobs and stuff and i'm pretty thin i have pretty clear skin, i'm kinda pale but i don't know what it is. can someone give me an explanation on why or how i can fix this?
ps. i'm really outgoing and flirty with guys... usually. but i recently moved so i kinda lost my flare.

ok so here it goes. im 13,f, and one of my best friends is 14,f. well she went out with this kid whos 15, m, and they were pretty serious for like 4 months. well one day SHE broke up with HIM for reasons unknown. he has had relashionships after, yet she hasnt. anyways its been at like 6 months since they broke up and hes obviousley gotten over her but she jsut cant shake him. anyways, over the last couple of weeks me and him have been hanging out and tonight he had his arm around me and we were like makign out and stuff. i honestly dont know if this is just like a friends with benefits thing or if he wants something more, but either way... i dont know whether to tell my friend or not. i mean i like him now, and theyve been over for like 6 m...
