I am being intimidated and i dont know what to do.
I cant give you the specifics because it seems so unbelievable.
and everyone I know has turned a blind eye to this issue so I don't know how to complain about it.

My irregular "regular" period

I'm 23 years old and since I got my period in 6th grade it has always been regularly really irregular. Very rarely was I a 28 day cycle girl, mine would range from 31, 32, 35 back in HS. In college my first 3.5 years I went on BC and that was the only time I had a predictable period.
I went off the second semester of my last year of college because the hormones were just getting to me. I had been on 3 types of BC. For the first year and a half I was on ortho cyclen and that worked well until it was making me really short tempered and extremely depressed, switched off to Yaz and it made me gain some extra weight & changed my personality. I went onto using the generic of Yaz and the pharmacy kept changing the generic brand...

Is my relationship pathetic?

Okay so I have been with my boyfriend for almost three months and, in my mind, things have seemed to be going okay. I'm 16 he's 15 and this is the first relationship for both of us, we're also both quite shy people so the relationship is moving quite slowly. We see each other most days at school and we've met up a few times at weekends and we don't text an awful lot. People say that we can't really class ourselves as being in a relationship and that we're being pathetic. I can kind of see what they're saying seeing as we don't make any physical contact with each other - we've awkwardly hugged once but that's as far as we've got.
I wouldn't mind moving things on a bit faster and being in contact with him more but I'm not reall...

Pain / uneasy feeling in back and legs at night

I'm a 21 male. For a while now I've had this problem where I get this burning uneasy feeling in my very bottom back and back of my legs. Seems to mainly be at night when I'm trying to sleep its hard to describe the feeling but when I move around it eases up until I'm still again and is still there. If I take pain medication it doesn't seem to do it I guess bc the meds numb your feeling? But I need to know because its annoying! I have this spot on my spine a specific vertebrae that if you touch it its very sensitive and a little below and above it is the same but not as bad and there's times it gets set off and I can't move. To be honest most of my muscles ache my upper back muscles are always tight but don't bug me like the other problem. M...

Cheap school supplies

Hello Advicenators,
I teach elementary students in a poor community school system and end up buying a lot of school supplies for my kids. Now, I am not complaining, but it has reached the point that I will have to say no to a tear stricken child who can't afford basic supplies, or I am going to starve to death.
Is there a place that I can buy school supplies in bulk, or just more cheaply than I have been?
Any advice is appreciated.

I have been having chest pains on and off for a while now. Some sites say it can be nothing and some say it is very serious. Thanks to obamacare I no longer have health insurance so I need to be really convinced I NEED to go to the doctor before I spend money I do not have. Can you help me decide what to do?

so me and this girl have been friends since last year and we barely became close this year. we used to do everything together and I would have a blast but lately shes been saying stuff that she thinks it wont hurt me but it actually does and whenever were with our other friends shes really annoying but when its just hanging out shes perfectly fine. We've been dating for a little over a year but we've been friends for 8 years.
Lately, we have just been fighting incessantly. We can't even be on the phone for 10 minutes without wanting to kill each other. He swears he's not seeing anyone but the way he's acting makes me think otherwise. We usually fight but not to this extent. General knowledge questions

Is there a list of general knowledge questions that will help me to know more about the world? I know nothing of trivia and feel like I would get so much more out of life if I just knew more about how the world got to this point. My dad laughed at me when I didn't know who some famous people were, and I feel weird. My dad was surprised I never heard of John Wayne or Maureen O'Hara (I have looked them up since) and I thought my mom was going to hurt me because I didn't know what "Gone with the wind" was. Maybe these people and movies weren't a big deal in Canada where I was born? I don't know, but I am not playing "trivial pursuit" ever again unless you help me figure out what I DON'T know!

Boyfriend and his ex

Im 16. My boyfriend is 17. We've been together on and off for a year and 2 months. His ex girlfriend asked him to prom because shes a senior and needs a date. They dated abt 2 or 3 years ago and he claims they want to be on a friend level. Im not sure how to take them going to prom together. I wanted to be his only prom date. He understands where im coming from but he said hes thinking about going. I don't feel comfortable with it. What should I do??

OK, I've thought about kissing girls, or something like that and it seemed fun, and when I think of kissing a boy I feel… nothing. I never feel anything to boys. There's a lot of other reasons on why I know I'm lesbian, but I won't get into detail. Anyway, my mother accepts gays and lesbians, but that doesn't mean other people will. Some of my friends think that they're gross, and I'm afraid of loosing my friendship in them, and being harshly judged and bullied. Maybe my friends will be able to accept me if they thought I was lesbian. I've tried to have relationships with guys, but ended it because I knew deep in my heart of hearts this wasn't right. I know I'm still a good person, but I'm having trouble accepting myself now. Is there a way to become…un-lesbian?
