Teeth Whitening, Lost cause?

I was wondering what to do for my teeth. I am going to college next year. In my second year I am getting braces, top and bottom at separate times.. it's really late and there are reasons for why I am caring now but w/e the damage is done. I would like my teeth whitened but is there a point if I am just going to get braces later? I would probably need the procedure done more than once.. how many months should I wait in between getting them whitened?
Reason being, I brush erratically when I feel like it and I finally kind of started brushing.. usually once a day as of last year. I am seeing the ramifications of not properly brushing or brushing at all over the 17 years I've been alive. So my question is, will laser teeth whiten...

surgery healing

i had an apicoectomy yesterday morning..its the process of fixing my failed root canal. im taking pain pills, and i think im doing very good for just having surgery, so does my family. i have 3 stitches in my gums, but they should dissolve any day. i have cheer tryouts tuesday through saturday of next week. so about 5 days away til the first day of tryouts. im feeling alright for now, and i know i should take it easy for a few days, but do you think i should be able to do tryouts in 5 days without harming my mouth if im careful? i have to do my tumbling tryouts tuesday, but i will be careful!! thanks! =]

LSAT prep

I am planning on taking the LSAT, and was wondering a couple of things- please ONLY answer if you have ever taken the LSAT:
a) About how long (as in, months) do you need to give yourself to prepare? Realistically...
b) which method of preparation is most helpful= which classes, books, etc.
Any other advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

I found a lump in the middle of my breasts about a year ago. Since then it has been getting bigger and bigger. I have been to the doctor for it twice, but they kind of blew me off since I get free health care because of low income. I want it removed because it scares me but I don't think the doctor would do it since they pretty much ignore me. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between cysts and tumors or what else it could possibly be? Thanks

my son is a garbage disposal

My son eats and eats and eats. I feed him only healthy food, like fruits, veggies, whole grain wheat, beans, tofu etc. This is all fine and dandy that he eats so much because he is really healthy, but the problem is he stuffs it all into his mouth at once. if I cut his food up in tiny bite size pieces, he shovels is all in until its pouring out of his mouth . I'm afraid he will choke, but I don't neccessarily want to sit there with him and give him his food piece by piece. does anyone know why he eats like that, and how I can slow him down without feeding him piece by piece? He is 17 months old. I am also afraid that when he gets older he will be overweight because he really will eat everything in sight, the other day we went out f...

Let's say that my credit score is 10 points below what I would like it to be, and I get a credit card and charge like $20 a month to it and I always pay the bill on time...how long will it take for my credit score to gain those 10 points?

Snacking

For whatever reason, when I am home(after school, weekends, and breaks) all i want to do is eat! After I figured this out, I changed my snacking habits from unhealthy snacks to healthy snacks. Some of my favorite snacks are fruits and vegetables with peanut butter, dairy products, and nuts. But it didn't help! Now, i crave unhealthy snacks more than ever. I don't know what to do! We don't really keep unhealthy foods around the house, just for my little brother, but I want to eat them. I can't figure it out. Maybe if I could get to the root of the problem, it would help me conquer it.

eating disorder

a friend of mine has an eating disorder. its not anorexia or bulimia or anything like that. she eats, but very little. and when she gets stressed out it makes her stomach hurt. and then she makes herself throw up. i have yelled at her about it and stuff because shes lost over 20 pounds since christmas and its totally unhealthy. she claimes she is just fine, but i know thats total bullshit. i really respect our friendship, and i dont want to ruin it by telling someone who could help her. i know it could help her and would really pay off, but i've been in her position. not with eating, but i was cutting and told my so-called friend, and she told her parents and her parents called me parents and it was a mess. and i hated her for it. but i do...

Prom Dress!

hi. im looking for a dress for prom and military ball cause my bf is bringing me to military ball as his date (obviously haha). so basically it has to be long but thats really it. it can still be fun and pretty (which it will be since im wearing it to prom) i just need places to look for dresses. i want a dress that had a tight bodice and then poofs out at the bottom a little but i might wait for Senior prom to wear that because my dream dress is one of those-like a Princess dress.

I'm on birth control and I've had some issues with spotting before but not when I'm nowhere close to my period. I had sex without a condom a week ago. I took my birth control on time. 2 days later i took it 40 minutes late on accident.
is spotting a sign of pregnancy?
I know..get a pregnancy test...but I thought i'd ask before i spend $10.

i am friends with two of his friends, guy A and guy B.
i am considering telling either guy A or guy B about my crush for several reasons. firstly, i could get the inside scoop on my crush's life. secondly, i can get advice from them on how to go about becoming friends with my crush without being obvious.
