Siren_Cytherea answered Friday March 28 2008, 11:56 am: I don't know if it's just me, but I've found college a LOT easier than high school. Most of college you're taking classes that pertain to what you're good at - they SHOULD be easy. Or at least, they should be interesting and therefore easier than trying to make yourself care about a boring class you can't stand.
No lockers, dorm rooms (if you're staying on campus), usually some sort of gym attached or something.
flexible class hours - like you don't HAVE to take 8am classes if you don't want to.
More reckless behavior for some people...
College involves growing up and more responsibility. I've become a lot more organized and better at, like, life since I got to college.
In short, college is much, MUCH better in, like, every way.
Good luck!

bulldog answered Thursday March 27 2008, 7:05 pm: to put it simply: no lockers, more work, harder classes, teachers don't care if you fail.
also it costs a lot of money, but you need to do it if you want a good job.
there are fun things about it tho, mostly new friends, which really aren't that hard to make. Being educated really is rewarding. [ bulldog's advice column | Ask bulldog A Question ]
burningXstar answered Thursday March 27 2008, 6:38 pm: University is a very independant learning experience. You will find you have to do alot of work yourself, reading, note taking, exam prep, ect, its all on you. In School you get alot more help from the teachers, and classes are taught in a very different way - at University its mainly lectures - no real interaction between yourself and the "teachers" unless you make it so. Also if you live away from home you have real life experiences to deal with too outside of education. It's a pretty big step! [ burningXstar's advice column | Ask burningXstar A Question ]
CaliforniaLover1111 answered Thursday March 27 2008, 6:37 pm: depending on how big your high school is college is probably way bigger...depends on what college you go to! so more people :) umm...living on your own like you dont have your parents there telling what you can and cannot do...homework...you dont have like tests every week or whatever usually you go to class, get lectured take notes and then youll have like three or four tests per semester...umm get ready to write papers... college professors dont really care if you show up to class or not...you live in a dorm or apartment, usually a dorm your freshman year...a lot of different groups and activities you can get involved with...hmm those are like the major things! its a whole different experience, however the drama that goes on in high school continues into college [ CaliforniaLover1111's advice column | Ask CaliforniaLover1111 A Question ]
