recently... everytime me and my bf make out, hours later my throat starts to hurt and get sore... what can be the cause? this has NEVER happened with anyone else... could it be and std?? help greatly appreciated!!!

drop out at age 18

Im really having a tough time understanding why any state would want to raise the dropout age to 18, my teacher always argues that they should raise it from 16 to 18 and now he wants me to come up with good reasons and i can not think of even one. help? please and thanks

Cough?

So It's almost May, In my country it's been +14 degrees (+57 Fahrenheit) for like three weeks and I have a pretty bad cough...and I've had it for like 2 weeks.
It sounds like a smoker's cough, but I haven't smoked for like 2 years now.
I'm not around smoke either unless I'm at concerts, and that's a few times a year.(and my last concert was in December)
But yeah, the cough is pretty bad, and it hurts my chest.
Does anyone know what this could be?
It's really been pssing me.

This may end up a bit long, I'm going to try and make this as short as possible.
For your information, I live in a country in Europe where the drinking age is 16, I don't live in the states.
Me:15/f Paul:17/m and the others are from 15-18.
A couple of weeks ago me and a whole load of my friends went to a concert, we all got quite drunk and ended up going back to Paul's house. His parent's weren't home so we had some more drinks and watched a couple of movies. Most people paired off and the ones that had boy/girlfriends went home. I ended up hanging around with Paul all night, and we got to know each other way better.

Animals helping Mankind

I was wondering if you all knew of any animals that have made a contribution to mankind. I know that chimpanzees made tools which were later modified by some of our ancestral primates and I did some research and discovered that pigs are used in genetic engineering. My boyfriend always thinks I'm cheating on him. In reality, I haven't even spoken to a male in about a year (besides my dad).
He has his reasons because I cheated on around a year ago, but I guess he doesn't understand that I've changed. He is severely paranoid. If I don't answer my phone but call back less than ten minutes afterwards, he assumes I was with a guy. He always asks where I am, who I'm with, and I have to tell him where I'm going all the time (that is, IF I ever go anywhere).

Okay so...theres this guy I'm interested in, (I'm 14 and he's 15) and we've been talking alot lately, more than a month. We have ALOT in common, and its always easy to talk to him. He said he would like to hang out with me but, I don't really know if he likes me. I heard from someone that he said he likes me but he hasn't told me himself. I don't want to tell him I like him, because if he doesn't like me back then he might want to be friends with me. I feel like I'm in fifth grade again, ugh.

I just bought 4 fish yesterday.
They are in the right size tank and have the right filter for the tank and plants etc.
The lady at the pet shop helped me.
I have two little Fantales and two little Black Moors.
The Fantales are fine and swim around and everything but I have noticed that the Black Moors will just lie on the bottom of the tank or just float near the top under the top of a plant.
The other two fish are fine but.
What is wrong?!

camera confusion

Okay, so I'm thinking about buying a new digital camera. I kinda don't know what to look for though. So just a few questions to help with my confusion:
Is 3x optical zoom good? And what's the difference between digital zoom and optical zoom?
I've tried looking it up, but it's really confusing me more than helping.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions? Like, what are some good brands for under $200?

curling my hair

I have very thick/wavy hair and I decided one day I wanted to curl it. Thing is, no matter which type of curler I used (small barrel or wide) or how much hair I used (small or medium strand) my hair would just not curl. It would a tiny bit at the end but in about a minute, it looked almost the same from when it was just wavy. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it possible for hair to simply not curl? And if it is possible that I could curl my hair, what steps/products should I use? I'm 16/f btw.

K this guy i know his name's jake and we've been friends for about 2 years but we weren't that close until this semester.
