So It's almost May, In my country it's been +14 degrees (+57 Fahrenheit) for like three weeks and I have a pretty bad cough...and I've had it for like 2 weeks.
It sounds like a smoker's cough, but I haven't smoked for like 2 years now.
I'm not around smoke either unless I'm at concerts, and that's a few times a year.(and my last concert was in December)
But yeah, the cough is pretty bad, and it hurts my chest.
Does anyone know what this could be?
It's really been pssing me.
it could either be as a result of the cold weather or something more serious. it could just be congestion in your chest area due to the mucus build up. if you haven't smoked recently, it may not be necessarily from that.
because it's been happening for three weeks, definitely make an appointment with your doctor. in the meantime, try to sip on some light tea, and take some OTC (over the counter) cough / congestion medicine. try to stay indoors as much as possible, and wear warm clothing in case it's from a cold / flu.
