Okay, well it could be mono, but that would mean that it would be in your system and stay, like it wouldn't go away. So when you say "everytime" you and your boyfriend make out, does that mean you get a sore throat and then it hurts, and then it goes away? Because it could easily be a virus. I mean, I know flu season it over apparently, but I know people get sick like everyday. So technically stuff still goes around. I doubt its an STD, but you can get them through your mouth. I would say, get a check up with your doctor the minuet it starts hurting, so he can check, it could be a virus, strep, mono ect. But you have to get a blood test for mono. And you can look up "Sore throat causes" or something, on google. Hope it works out for you!(:

You could just be getting sick or it could be something such as mononucleuosis[sp], also known as mono and the kissing disease. I would check with you doctor just in case.

Hope I Helped.

Could be mono (aka kissing disease) I would check with your doctor and see what they say for sure.

Here is some info on mono [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
