How to get over jealousy????

My bf and I have been together for a few years now. Let's just put it this way: I'm jealous of his ex gf and it's literally driving me crazy. I don't even know who I am anymore. I feel like a terrible person.
They were together for years from middle school to high school (but it isn't supposed to be a big deal bc they were young), but he never got over her until he met me. But even when we met and were together, I could still tell he had reserved feelings for her and was obviously really hurt. He still wanted her back. so there's one reason that drives me mad.
What makes me the most upset is that she is beyond perfect. Like she is better than me. I never knew I could be a jealous person until...

okay well, i have liked this kid lets call him alex and im pretty sure he likes me too, he's always flirting with me, always iming me, always waiting after class for me we sort of have a thing. except none of us are really brave to admit it. i dont EXACTLY know if he likes me though which is kinda annoying, maybe he just thinks we are really good friends.

In one of the very first pages the author describes the chatter by the lockers when walking through school.. she kind of describes it like you're flipping through channels and only hear half-sentences.. can anyone tell me exactly what that says, WORD FOR WORD? So I got a job at a local fast food restaurant. I've been working there for a month now. I just got my fourth paycheck today, and I brought it home and instead of giving it to my parents to put in my bank account like I usually do, I kept it and told them that i wanted to spend part of it on some new clothes and things. I'm 17 years old this Saturday and they told me that I couldn't spend any of my money. it really made me mad and I walked off and now they're mad at me. I haven't gone shopping in nearly four months, and even when I do I don't spend a lot. I don't understand why they won't let me use any of the money that I earned. Okay, so I have been accepted into a camp for musical theatre, and it said I need a audition book. So I asked my vocal teacher, except she is all about the opera, and isn't really up to date with musical theatre. She tried her best and her and I put something together.
It said I need 2 contemporary musical theatre pieces (One ballad, one up-tempo), a song that shows off your skills (I chose a comical song, because I do that well haha), and 2 classical pieces (one ballad, one up-tempo)

Briefly, the facts of my situation are as follows:
I had an emotional affair. It was a long-distance matter between me and a woman I used to know before I met my wife. When my wife began to realize what was going on (and it didn't take her long, because I'm lousy at keeping secrets and she's very perceptive) I ended it, and told my affair partner that I would not be contacting her again. Basically I have a huge group of friends - about 15 of us. And last year some of them began to bitch about me, and then just because one didn't like me - none of them did and they just bumlick of eachother and suck up to eachother and we are bloody sixteen. Well this year we all forgot about it and now it went really well.
