**Sorry, but this is long** I am 16 female. Alex is my best guy friend and I have known him for about 14 years(since i was 2) and i think i am starting to like him. me and my other friends sometimes joke around and say we think he will end up seriously dating or marrying this other friend melissa who we have known since we were 5. The thing is me and Alex have gotten a lot closer this year and I am really starting to like him. He is the only person other than my bff that i feel like i can go to to talk about anything. I am totally comfortable around him and we always hang out but only in our group of friends. for people who've been in past relationships or are in relationships:
how long did it take for the guy to say "Ilove you"? and what things did he do right before?i've been dating this guy for almost 4 months and he told me in the beginning that he doesnt say unless he really means it and i agreed with him but now im really feeling it and i know he really likes me but i dont want to be the first to say it. i know all relationships are different but i just want an idea how other relationships went.

okay well me and this guy had a "thing" for like two months and we both really liked eachother.
he is a huge jock and all the girls want him.
we went on a "date" on a friday and that night he texted me and said he had a really great time and he wanted to hang out saturday.
sunday he stopped by my house and ended up meeting my parents.
at school monday he was all saying hi and everything then that night he didnt text me and he usually ALWAAYS does.
then tuesday i hear that he thinks i'm to "shy" so i text him saying you think i'm too shy thats why you randomly stop talking to me? and then he says "not that your shy its just that we have two different personalities and ...

I am very interested in taking dance and alwasy have been. I am a begginer 19f and would like to know what would be the best genre of dance to learn for me. I want to be flexible and so i was thinking ballet but I also like fun and energized styles, WHat do you think?

I've been texting, talking, hanging out with this guy we'll call him Luke... We talked every night no matter what.. on the phone or texting and he was always the one making the effort.. it turned into serious flirting and i started to fall for him and i thought he was falling for me too by all the hints he was dropping.. well all the sudden he stopped and he's been super short with me or just never responds.. so i stopped making an effort n now he just doesnt even text me anymore and i have no idea what happened.. idk what to do if i should say something or just get over it and i have no idea why this would have happened.. any idea?

long distance relationships

i have been in a long distance relationship for about a month now and i feel like i would really love this guy if he were actually here, but distance is sort of making me hold back. so should i just take a chance and go through with the relationship and see how it turns out? who knows, maybe one day we'll end up together? or should i just let it go? and cheating isnt an issue, im not worried about that. anyways, i just wanted to hear some opinions

college major

Like a lot of people..i don't know what the hell i want to do with my life. I'm a senior in high school and I'll be heading off to college soon. I'm gunna be going to a community college for two years, then transferring to a 4 year college(for financial reasons). i mean, i have an okay view of what i want to do. I've always been infatuated (that's right, big word) with movies. ever since i was little I've wanted to make them, to produce them. the question is, what should be my major? film and editing? i don't even know if there's a class that teaches me how to be a producer. idk. any questions with my question..I'll answer. boy, that was confusing huh. haha

One of my best friends loooves hello kitty and wants a "surprise" for Christmas. So obviously i'm trying to find something hello kitty. thing is...anything that they sell in stores around town she already has (every t-shirt, toy, pillow, etc. from everywhere from mervyn's to hot topic to claire's). what can i get her that is unique and original...and hello kitty? maybe authentic Japanese or something. and not like a million dollars plz. any suggestions?

calories lost a day

i've started to work out a lot more than usual because i feel my ''excercises'' aren't working. so i decided to step it up a notch. i do all the normal crunches and push ups, blah blah blah..i just want to know two things:
#1- i want to loose a substantial amount of weight. SO, what kind of exercises should I do everyday?
#2- how many calories should i set a goal for loosing everyday?
By the way im 17/f if this helps and i want to loose about 15-20 pounds. im not on a time limit but i would really like to loose it as quickly as possible. im on a healthy diet. and i really badly want to loose the ''extra baggage'' if u know what i mean.

So, there's this girl. And, well, I'm not entirely sure what she's doing, but basically she's being mean to me.(Ignoring me, not making eye contact with me on purpose, avoiding me but not being at all discrete about it...) It's nothing big, but she's a cool person and it's kind of annoying that she treats me like that. I can't figure out if she likes me and she's playing hard to get, or if she's just a flirt, and that's how she flirts, or if she's trying to tell me she doesn't like me, or if she's just trying to be funny... Frankly, I don't care. Well, that's not true, but that's not what this question is about. How do I get her to stop?

So, my boyfriend has about, 4 or 5 playboy posters in his room. Ya know like the half naked girls? For some reason, it really, really, REALLY, bothers me. I cant really help it. It makes me feel like...im not god enough, so he has to stare at OTHER girls all day long, and fantasize about them and their bodies. Like, he know it bothers me, but idk. i dont think he knows to what extent. What should i do? =/

in 8th grade all i did was straighten my hair.. & in 9th grade all i did was scrunch my hair.. haha i've now realized how bad it is for your hair so i haven't been doing anything to my hair besides a bit of gel and hairspray.. from the past my hair is split, dry and frizzy. what can i do? btw whats worse scrunching or straightening your hair?

How do you put a different picture on your profile. Like you're default is "picture no. 1" and you want your friends seeing that one..but on your page you want "picture no.2" HOw do you do that? thanks in advance.
