I feel like I have nothing left

I'm a 26 year old male would-be author who hasn't been able to find work in the year since he graduated, nor got his book that he worked on published.
I feel like a drain on my family, friends, love life and so on.
I feel like a failure in every sense of the word. And I feel as if I lost faith in so many things, mostly myself, and that my life has run its course as far as mattering goes.
How can I regain my will to try, to persist, to basically live?

There's this guy, we'll call him N. Well, I've liked him for a very long time. I told him eventually, he didn't feel the same. Okay, cool. We were friends. Still are. But now, ever since him and his girlfriend (er, now ex-girlfriend) broke up, he's been flirting with me like there's no tomorrow. But then, when he's texting me updates about the game, he stopped texting back so fast. So my friend Tyler sent me updates. Well, N told me the same thing Tyler did, so I told him that Tyler told me. 13 yr old girl never spends time with friends

so my younger sister never spends any time (out of school) with her friends. she is in 8th grade, and i would think that at least some girls her age are hanging out on weekends, i mean i remember having sleepovers with my friends when i was that age. anyways, i was wondering if this was normal? the last time she did anything with her friends was when she went to the movies one time in the summer...
she's not in fights with any of them either...

ok my myspace layout wont change.. I change the layout but when i press view profile my layout loads for a second and i seen it all but when the page is all done loading my layout is all gray with these pink dashes around the boxes. There are very few layouts I can put without it being gray. I even cleared all my boxes so there was nothing on my profile and it is still grey.. What do I do ?

okay so like im usually like insanely comfortable with guys. like i can kiss them and hook up and whatever but like its weird when it comes to like anything more. im usually up for anything, like i always feel fine saying ill do stuff with a guy and ill be so comfortable with him and totally game for doing stuff but then literally at the last second i stop him and i dont know why. like i always get mad at myself for not letting it happen. how do like i get over that?

I love bands like Boys Like Girls, Angels and Airwaves, The Academy Is, 30 Seconds to Mars. I'm not sure if they're indie or alternative. Anyways, I'm looking for some other great bands like them. Any recommendations or a website that could help me out?

Does anyone know any good books that include romance with mystery or horror in it? Something like Twilight but something a little more mature but not too mature if you know what I mean. If you have any GOOD books in general don't be afraid to mention it!

ok i am a girl. i am 19 in college. So there is this guy. I met him in school and he's been really cool. He's really everything i would want, like completely, but i know he's been on and off with this girl and supposedly she's now in a relationship with this other girl. I want to say 'ya know i like you' and all but if there is something going on with this other girl i don't want to become a part of it, or make things weird for next semester. Lost & The Dark Knight [grenades?]

Best two things ever invented in the history of EVER, I know, but my question is actually about grenades. For any of you familiar with the series and film, or for people with grenade experience, there are parts in both where people pull the trigger on hand grenades and then either put it in another person's hands or mouth. Basically, the person holding it has to press down on it so it won't blow up. How the hell does that work out? I mean, how do they get rid of the grenade later without it blowing up in their face? This has been bugging me for weeks, months actually, so I'd appreciate your feedback.

Okay, my friend, Linda, got into a argument with my other friend, Stacy, and made Stacy cry. In Linda's defence, though, Stacy hadn't been being such a great friend.
Anyway, even though Linda made Stacy cry, she really does not care. She was just able to turn her back so easily. She has gotten into fights like this before, where she hurts the other person, and really dosn't care.
Then, it's like other people can say mean things to her and insult her, and she can just ignore it like its not there and dosn't care.

I am a 22 year old Korean/Guamanian woman who has a mom that just doesn't get me...EVER! I constantly get disrespected from my sister, the one person who I thought I can depend on in my life. Since we were little, my YOUNGER sister has always tried to step over me and at first, I was a very passive person, but as I got older, I knew I wasn't going to tolerate it. Sour taste

I think I might have a vaginal infection. Its not itchy or anything, there's no odor, but sometimes the discharge is clumpy. But according to my ex, it tasted very sour and kind of tart. Soo embarrassing :(
Does this sound like an infection? What should I do first, get some over the counter medication, or go to the doctor and see what she suggests?
Oh, and I have very good hygiene.
