in shape/lose weight

okay so i get out of school this friday and i want to start an exercise routine to get in shape over the summer and lose weight before i have field hockey tryouts at the end of august.
i am overweight, but not terribly, and im rocking a lot of curves. im not self conscience with my body or anything but id like to loose weight to be even more happier with myself.
so what are some really good exercises that help you loose weight and build muscle in your: arms, stomach, legs/thighs, and butt? so pretty much just everywhere actually. also what are good ways to get in relllllly good shape running wise?
oh and some healthy meals i could eat for all 3 meals of the day would be really great to know too.

not that i dont like advicenators, because i actually LOVE this site & i find it very helpful,, are there anyother websites like this where you can ask questions and other people help you?
i have this one situation.. that i already asked on this site,, and i just want to talk to as many people as possible and get as much feedback as i can..
i tried looking on google.. but i didnt get anything that i really liked..

i love some1 & he also love's me a lot & these perents accept me before 1 year, but my perent is too much strick in love relation, i also love my perent i can't leave any one .i can't leave with out my perent's & my lover . im very tence & i can't marri another one . my lover is perfact he earn good his family is also good & he is same stateus , but THESE R IN DIFFERENT CASTE these i mean problem . how can i say these relationship ? with my perents i my warried before 3 years & i m soo tense what can i do? i don't want to hurt my perents but i can't leave my lover(i m from india)

I might get a D on my report card for Religion. My mom is really strict about grades and she won't accept anything lower than a B in any subjects but Computers. I've gotten almost 100% on every test and quiz I've taken in that class, plus i got A's on two of my projects. I know one of the problems is that i forget do to the homework (and she assigns only three each marking period), and i accept that. But my teacher gave me a 0 on my third project that I handed in and she even saw it. what she did is that the other section of my class got to do their's a month later cuz she forgot to assign it to them. well i was going out with this boy and we were off and on agian for about a coupel of months. I have this friend that I've known since the start of this school year. We've been great friends and we used to always talk.. Until the melodrama at my school. He was the director, an I got a part. But due to random events during it, he completely drew back socially from my friends and me. I don't know what to do. I've asked him several times if he's mad at me, and he answers no... although he never stays within the same room as me or my friends. I don't know what to do. I've tried talking to him about it, but he just cuts the conversation short and leaves.
