Is it cheating?

So there's this guy that i've had a crush on for forever. He moved and I got a boyfriend (together 9 months) and i forgot about him. But he moved back and my feelings for him returned too, but i also love my boyfriend. The other guy likes me too so he asked me to hang out with him. I wasn't going to because i didn't want to hurt my bf, but i decided i would just to see if i felt anything. So we were hanging out and i let him put his arm around me, he tried to kiss me but i didn't let him. We didn't do anything else. It turns out im not as crazy about him as i thought. Anyways, would this be considered cheating? Should i tell my boyfriend about it? Am i a bad person for doing this?

I need to los the weight

So for most of my life I've been fat. I just kept gaining weight. Fortunately, I've finally mastered the art of maintain my weight and at least not gaining any more. I'm 16, female, 5'3" and my weight on any given day is between 194-200lbs. I honestly wouldn't care much if I hadn't found out i'm prediabetic. I really don't want to get diabetes so I'm looking for some advice on how to eat better, exercise more, and just lose all this extra weight. I'm a busy person and I don't have a lot of time in my day so please keep that in mind but I'd like to los weight as fast as possible.
Also, I have some issues with motivating myself. Any advice on how I can make myself stick to a plan would also be appreciated.

Macbeth Vs. Chris Brown?

i have an essay where i have to compare a contemporary figure to a character in macbeth. i picked chris brown because he had a great career and now hes ruined because of the rihanna incident. i'm assuming it'd be easiest to compare to macbeth himself, so all i can think of is that they were both great people/role models before but now they're considered bad and dangerous.
so if anyone has read macbeth or knows anything about it.. i would LOVE for you to help me throw around some ideas/comparisons to chris brown. thank you thank you thank you!

Period affected by pregnancy

Let's say you have sex 4 days before you're supposed to get your period and you get pregnant (hey, it's possible). Would the period you're supposed to get in 4 days be affected at all or would it only affect your next coming period a cycle later?

Writing dialogue

Hello everyone.
I have a question about writing dialogue in fiction. What I can't seem to find on the net are the rules for how to show that two people are communicating with each other in writing.
Say your two characters are chatting via an instant messenger. Is it treated like normal dialogue? Also, what sort of tag would one use... would it be "he said" or "he wrote" or something totally different?
Any help would be much appreciated :)

There is this kid in my english class who is super sexy. He has a formspring and on it, it says he had sex with his girlfriend and he cheated on her. Now, they broke up but I think they're trying to work it out. In the meantime, though, he decided to flirt around, he is such a big flirt and seeming as I'm the only girl at my english table out of four people, he flirts a lot. He'll make jokes about our teacher to make me laugh and when I laugh, he'll look at me like he likes watching me smile. Hi, I'm fifteen and female. Like most girls, I have a guy best friend, he has been my friend since 3rd grade, I am now in 10th grade as is he. He's my everything, I got to him with every single problem and he helps me and everything is fine if I handle it the way he tells me. Birth Control

I'm 16, and I'm about to start birth control. my main concern with it, is that ill develop more acne, and gain weight. is it true that that happens to everyone? or is it just a something you have to base on genes? i have sentitive skin, and i don't exercise at all. if i started exercising could that help the weight gain? and what could i do to make sure i don't get bad acne while i'm on the pill? thank you! :)

Coursework

Basically, we have to do coursework, i.e. an assignment/essay that contributes 20% to my college qualification. Okay, now its technically exam work. So my laptop fuzzed out on me, so i was using a computer at college, and you had to give it in before 2.30, or it wouldnt be accepted. When i was first writing, i wrote "xxxxxxx believed that the black power movement...."!?!?!? i litterelly put 'xxxxxxx' because i was supposed to insert the name of the guy who believed it?!
So....do you think it would affect my grade? Any idea's? cheerz

Might be moving but need to apply for college

I am just finishing up my gap year and plan on attending college for the fist time this fall. Three months ago my dad lost his job and is currently looking for another one. Tomorrow he will be interviewing for a job in Indiana (we live in Oregon).
If we were not moving, I would be applying to local universities and assuming that I would pay in-state tuition all four years. Now that staying in the state seems so unlikely I am at a loss as to where to apply. Does anyone know of any respectable four-year universities that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I am thinking about med school afterwords so I really need a high-quality education.
Is an online university an option? And if so, how do I make sure I still have a social life?...

Watched a movie with U.S. Army in it...what does Alpha mean?

I went to the theatre and watch the Green Zone movie last week with my boyfriend. In the movie, they started to panic and call off some information to each other about what they were after. During it, they kept saying things like Alpha Bravo and Zooloo (or zulu or zuloo or HOWEVER you would spell it). Are these army slang for location or something? I couldn't figure out what or who might be Alpha or something so...what did it mean? If it's army talk for something then can somebody tell me more army words just for future reference? THANKSSS

Why is green beer green?

I know this is probably the dumbest question ever but on St. Patrick's Day everybody drinks GREEN colored beer. Most people actually seem to call it green beer but I don't know the particular brand it might be. Anyway, my real question is actually WHY is it green? Other than this certain green beer served on St. Patrick's Day I've never seen a green colored alcoholic beverage. Is it just a brand of beer that adds green food coloring to their drink? Insight, please?

How to professionally "proof-read" someone's work?

I am very good at "proof-reading" written material. I did this in college for a few friends and, eventually, when I became an English tutor. I know that people have many people look over their writing before having it published so I was curious if there was a way to actually become someone that does that for a living. What would the job-title be and how would I find something along that line of work?

I had this friend a few years ago and we were really, really close. Things were going fine and dandy and then she started doing these weird things. She started dating a guy that was totally using her (but I really don't know for what exactly). He got her into smoking weed a lot and taking prescription pain pills when he came over to her house on the weekends. He was constantly lying to her about she even found scratch marks on his back from a person.
