I use Gmail. My problem is that in my inbox, the names on the "threads" I have are not always the names I have assigned to the contacts.
For example, let's say I have a friend whose email address is sexychick01144@yahoo.com, and her name is Sarah Perkins. The thread title is "me, sexychick01144 (2)," not "me, Sarah Perkins (2)." I have this hypothetical girl added in my contacts with that name.
How do I fix this so her NAME shows up, not her email address username?

trying to get a job

i think i have a connection at logan's roadhouse. this guy who lives down the street is a manager there. anyways, i'm going in either this thursday or wednesday, because those two days are half days off school.
now to my question, could anyone give me any tips? I've applied for jobs before but have never actually had one. i reaally need this job. so can anyone tell me any questions they might ask, what i should wear, say, how to answer the questions? thanks in advance.

I have a best friend. We are both fifteen and in tenth grade. I am female, he is male. Let me tell you a little bit about us. We met in third grade and have been friends since. this might be hard to follow.

well my computer recently crashed and we lost all the itunes files. when i redownloaded itunes on the new computer and plugged my ipod in, only the songs i had purchased showed up in the library. however i have alot of songs that i got from cds and what not so i was wondering if i plug my ipod in again will it put the rest of the songs into the library? or will it put the library of songs i have now onto my ipod and i will lose all the unpurchased songs? pleaseeee help meee. it would really mean alot

iv been with my boyfriend for almost two months and im starting to question if we should stay together. we are perfect other than at times he is veryyyy immature and he is younger than me and a mamas boy. he asks his mom everything even advice about us, laughs at words 3yo's do and carrys a big red bookbag n puts it between us in the car saying its a barrior for a flood, wouldnt even let me buy a new lighter bc his mom wouldnt approve. he goes out of his way to talk to my mom ALOT and i hate my mom... but hes so sweet and im starting to love him, but i did just get out of a few year long serious relationship, should i ride it out or try and move on? and whats some advice as to how i can fix how he does all that?

i have a hard time admitting that im wrong i always blame the person and get mad instead of saying sorry, because when i say it i feel weak,mad,sad and defeated and i dont know why. I know its bad but i dont know why i feel this way. Is it pride?

Problems with my divorced parents- my dad is driving me crazy

My family situation is pretty crazy and embarrassing to talk about, and I'm still having trouble coming to terms with it. My parents divorced 3 years ago. Basically, what happened was that my dad said he was going a business trip, and then never came back.
Since he disappeared he left a lot of loose ends. He has never let me talk with him about what happened in an honest and open way (he didn't bother seeing or calling me until one year after he left), the divorce process lasted a year and was really ugly, he left my mum to pay the bills and take care of me, he remarried without telling me, bought his new family a house and settled down on the other side of the atlantic with them etc.
Now he's saying he wants...

are you being fake if your being too nice to a person you dont like? lets say you dont want to talk to them but when the person starts talking to them you end up talking to the person you dont like because you are too nice to say "i dont want to talk to you" so you talk behind that person's back?

i know friends that talks crap about people and make fun of them or just talk behind people's back, but i know a friend that she doesnt talk bad about anybody or doesnt gossip about anyone and when one of my friend is talking bad about someone to my friend she just doesnt say anything or agree with them, it seems like shes uncomfortable by it, does that make her loyal?

two completely different people

Two people, they like each other, perhaps even are in love with each other. They are best friends, in college. And they are from completely different planets. She's white, he's black. From completely different economic backgrounds, different views on life, different goals, yet somehow the two people just click and understand each other. Maybe even better than they understand themselves. There's passion, compassion, and intimacy between them. They would do anything for each other.
But they have never mentioned their feelings to each other, it was always a big elephant in the room. Why? Because they are scared, what if it won't work out? What if what they have now will be ruined?

tonight me and my bf where talking. i am 22 he is 30, i asked if he was happy he said yeah. then we started talking about karma, got onto the topic of how bad this year has been and i say "as long as we have each othere we are ok" he tells me thats not enough. should i take the personily he said he ment love wont keep our heads above water, it really hurt me should i let it go or talk to him about it?

Well over the summer my friend didn't text any of my friends or me (except for once to go bowling...) and then we got back to school and she sat with us at lunch for one day. After that day she sat with this other group that she claims she didn't like last year. And since then she hasn't talked to me at all or any of my (used to be hers too) friends. My mom says i should talk to her and tell her everything, but im not sure. what should i do? i miss her a little, but i don't want to be desperate and pathetic or anything. help!

five year old little girl wont wipe

I watch a five year old little girl and everytime she goes to the bathroom she doesnt wipe. I try to remind her everytime and even if tell her to she usaly doesnt. Well its getting to be a hard thing to deal with today i was out with my mom and she had to go to the bathroom, i took her and told her to wipe. she comes out wash her hands and we go back to hang with my mom she wont sit down i ask her why she said she didnt want to. i told her to sit down she does then she gets back up after a few mins i smell something. she didnt wipe, she isnt my child so i dont feel right wiping for her or check so me and her have to leave and come home to change and take a bath. how can i make her wipe she refuses to and doesnt seem to care if she gets in trouble. HELP please
