is it true [[well i heard - could be just one of those stupid fitness rumors. lol]] that if you drank 8 glasses of water a day you could really lose weight? if so, how much? dont worry im not going on any of those crash diets.

I'm 13/f, almost 14. I'm 5'10ish and 170 lbs.
My goal is to lose 20 pounds by December 31st 2006. My eating habits consist of 2 bowls of cereal for breakfast, usually a turkey sandwhich with 1 pint of chocolate milk & a fruit, and for dinner - i have about 2, 3 meals for dinner. I know I'm eating a lot, but I have four questions..
1) Is there any way for me to get my mind off of food so I won't crave it so much?
2) Excersize. How long should I run on the tredmill for/how many mph? I also play a lot of sports though. And also, if I'm not accesible to a tredmill one day what other exercise should I do?
3) What would you say is the rate I should be losing weight? (e.g. 2 pounds a week? 3 pounds a week? -- rememb...

well i weigh 130lbs and im 5'4. im a 13/f, I know this is fat but i was wondering if you know anyways i can lose weight. thanksss a bunch i want to look nice for when i have my pool party at the end of the school year for grad.

i am 15/f to start off. i have a little tummy fat and pretty big love handles (it runs in the family, we are all VERY high waisted =[) and i want to get rid of them. i have been doing some situps and i play volleyball and i haven't been eating that badly of junk foods. but is it a waste to do situps when i still have fat? like i have heard that you first should run off the fat where you have none, and then do situps to tone them and make then like hard or whatever. but i am not much of a runner and i do play sports. so is it stupid to do situps and hope that my love handles and stomach will get smaller if you have to have no fat before you do situps? thank you =]

OK, well, I really want to start losing weight, again. Now, when I did it before, I tried pills, fad diets & aerobics. The only thing that really takes the weight off of me are the strength training exersizes. You know, like the machines they have at curves. Not just aerobics alone. So, my problem is... I really can't afford to join a gym right now. So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could use at home to tone my muscles while I lose the weight? Thanks.

hey my friend is 4'9 and she only weighs 85 pounds she eats alot and everything but she wont gain weight. this is a really big problem for her and shes been really sad about it. what are some HEALTHY ways 4 her to gain weight.

ohkay well i really want a tredmill because i no it will work because its the same thing as running outside.. but the thing is my mom wont get me one because there so much money.. what is the cheapest tredmill you can get. also i go on ebay. what are some good tredmills on there? but i really need to no thanks =)

My name is Ashley. I am 18 years old. I am 5'3 and I weigh 114 pounds. I am wanting to lose 5 to 10 pounds because I have gained 6 pounds in the past 6 months and I just want to get my weight back down. Do you think 6 pounds is too much weight to gain in 6 months? I have grown in height I was 5'2 and a half and now I am 5'3. How many minutes should I walk on my treadmill a day? I do have The Ab Lounge. How many sit ups should I do on The Ab Lounge a day? I am taking the Coconut Oil Diet. Can taking Coconut Oil help me lose weight and has it worked for any of you?

okay so, i just got back from vacation almost 3 week tomorrow. So when i got back i weighed myself. 125.5. During my presence back at home i've been eating less just a fruit for breakfast but then i've eaten alot of lunch and dinner. a little bit less then normal. Last night i weighed myself i weighed 119.5, i've lost about 6 pounds in 3 weeks, non-diet. is that normal? also there are little bumps around my armpits area like pimples sort. please tell me whats happening. i've also been having diahhrea.

okay im 22 n im 48 kg.First let me tell about myself im having sex from 2 years now but with one partner n i fell that during this time i have gained weight on my hips n thighs. Is it jus cuz of that or is it age factor. I would like to know how can i loose weight on my hips n thighs apart from that my body is perfect.
So all you gals out there do gimme some advise.

so one of my fashion icons is nicole ritchie, and i love the fact that she is "waif" or "herion chic" (aka way to skinny).
i admit that she is a bit unhealthy in the whole weight area, so im not trying to be that skinny. but i was wondering, is it possible to lose fat in your face if you werent that heavy to begin with? because, i mean nicole ritchie was average sized before, but now her face just seems so structured. do you lose weight in your face when you lose weight in the rest of your body?

Hey I was just wondering, is tennis considered a team sport? I need to do a project on a team sport, and I cant think of anything else, We arent aloud to do sports that weve done projects on in the past such as hocky, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball or any of the other easy team sports, and we have to find a team sport, not an indiviual one, thats why I was wondering if tennis is considered a team sport! thanks soooo much for any help you can give!
