toning up the legs

Hi i'm 16/f about 125 lbs. I'm in alright shape. I'm not super super skinny but i'm not fat... lets say average. But my legs are kinda chunky and i've just been noticing it over the last couple months and with summer comimg i dont want ot be showing off chunky legs.. I live like in the middle of no where basically so i cant really get to a fitness center. I have celluluse on my legs.. not sure how to spell it and its sick.. advice please!

Tightning your butt

Ok in clas we had to excercise while following it on thsi video and the guy kept saying to make sure to tighten your butt and abs while excercising.

Does that mean that I'm supposed to suck in my tummy when I excersise? What about the butt thing?

diet plan

Hello! I've started dieting this summer. I dieted last summer and managed to loose some weight, but I think the reason why I didn't loose as much as I wated to was because I didn't have a specific diet plan to stick to. I think if I do have and maintain a plan this summer, I should be able to loose the weight I want to loose. If anyone out there knows of a diet plan I could follow this summer (prefferably one that won't cost me much money) I'd appreciate it.
Oh, I'm also running a few miles like five times a week or so, if that's any help.

okay, well me and my friend decided that we're making a new new year resolution for June (since its half-way through the year and we already messed up our last new years). basically, we want to eat healthier. my friend isn't that motivated into it, but i am.
i have had a heart/lung condition in the past and had to get surgery when i was 2. i've been overweight since i was 7. and i really want to loose 23lbs in order to be healthy. i'm 147lbs right now, and according to my diet book, i need to be around 125lbs to be "fit/healthy".

i need a food plan..bad. i also need tips on how to stop from cravings and overeating. i caught myself today from eating oatmeal that i didn't need.

running pains?

okay today i was running outside in my neighborhood. i forgot to stretch and since i have health now in school (13/f) i havent done gym for a while.. and my basketball thingie ended about 2 months ago, and volleyball on saturdays just finished like last week. i dont run alot on a daily basis.. maybe to like the bus in the morning or like.. during school sometimes.. but not really.

anyways i ran really fast on the toes of my sneakers pushing myself to go real fast.. (im training to be the fastest soccer player on my school team next year, since i didnt make it this year.) and then after my feet were like shaking a little and i felt like my feet were hurting. i'd been running for about 20 mins then.. does that like litle pain...

Walking?

I'm 14/f, and want to tone my thighs/abs for the summer. Since I don't exercise that much, I thought maybe I could start walking.

Does walking burn a lot of calories? I'm not lazy, but I don't want to waste all that time walking if it wont work, when I could be doing something else instead. How long should I walk for each day to make a difference? Thanks ;D

Okay im 15 years old about 5'4 and weigh i think around 77 kilos. Personally i dont think my face is that ugly i mean its not wonderfull but im satisfied with it, its just the rest of my body. Since about year 9 i noticed all the bad things about my body. Like how i have this tan line half way up my arms so i dont like showing them and that they are quite flabby. Same with my legs and tummy. Around the end of last year i started getting stretch marks and i absolutely hate them. Not alot of people realise how hard it is to lose weight. I mean i have always been a little chubby but now i feel so ugly and i just want to be able to be confident in myself. I go to the gym as a school thing every thursday for like an hour and try to do sit ups an...

working out time

ok im planning on workin out at the Y and i want to know how much time i should spend working different things like triceps, biceps, running, and stuff like that. so please if anyone has a time plan for workin out that is effective for them please say how much time you spend on each different thing. and please dont say stuff like you need to figure out your own or something like that or just give ideas, actually give one that you use yourself.

tummy fat

okay so im 14 i weigh 108 and im a lil over 5 foot.
i know that im not fat.
i have ab muscles but there is just a little bit of fat covering it.
do i need to run off the fat?
or just keep doing ab excersises [pilates, sit ups, etc] .
im afraid if im trying to run it off im going to loose my boobs :] haha.

Ab Exercises

What are some of the best ab exercises? I did google it, but I was wondering if anyone had personal experiences with them & which ones worked. I've been doing crunches & reverse crunches/6 inches. I'm kind of bored with them. Any ideas? Thanks!
