Hello! I've started dieting this summer. I dieted last summer and managed to loose some weight, but I think the reason why I didn't loose as much as I wated to was because I didn't have a specific diet plan to stick to. I think if I do have and maintain a plan this summer, I should be able to loose the weight I want to loose. If anyone out there knows of a diet plan I could follow this summer (prefferably one that won't cost me much money) I'd appreciate it.
Oh, I'm also running a few miles like five times a week or so, if that's any help.
Please and Thank You!!!

*More protein, less carbs
*Lots of veggies and fruit
*LOTS of water
*Low/nonfat whatever you can get
*Sleep at least 6 hours a night
*Try to eat every 3-4 hours: it helps speed up your metabolism, and always eat something after you workout.
****MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT. If I were you, I wouldn't set a weight goal, but a SIZE goal. With all that running, you'll get strong legs.
Lean muscle is good. Weight is just a number on a scale.
Good luck!

Of these four quarters, one quarter should be a protein/meat alternative (tofu, for me), one quarter should be a carbohydrate (wild rice), and the other two plates should be all veggies & fruit. For salad sprays, I usually use one of those spritzer salad things, like Wishbone's brand.
