I need some good advice about my sister. She is 15 yrs. old {I am 21 if that matter's} and has been getting in alot of trouble at school & home. She got into a fight at school, stole my mom's car one night to go joy riding, tried to hook-up with a 26 year old ex-convict, and the other day was caught giving a note to a boy with a condom inside, asking him when they were gonna have sex! My mom, or me doesnt know what to do anymore. Talking to her about this doesn't seem to phase her. She just cries, promises to do better and never does. Do you think she is doing this for attention? Also, I told my mom I think she need's to get on birth-control, for the obvious reasons, so she will not get pregnant. My mom said NO! she said putting her on birth-control is just going to give my sister the go-ahead to have sex. I don't know if she has ever had sex or not, but if she's passin' out condoms to people then i dont think it'll be to long before she does. Any advice? (link)

ok being the younger sister i have some insight to offer yes your sister is definitely yelling for attention why not sure of that my dear maybe a lack of a father figure or a decent one maybe i was just like her at 15 she is out of control and wreckless and unless your mom is willing to put her on the birth control shot not the pill she probably wont take them but the shot is good and effective for up to three months at a clip then she will be young and wreckless with a baby to support she is looking for something or someone until she finds it not alot you can do except get her professional help take care and good luck

For the second time in my life, I am dating a virgin. The last time I blew it by letting my sex drive push me to push him away. I need help on how to not get so bent out of shape about not having sex.
I have "toys". I use them. I pleasure myself often. I still want to have sex. Now, I am dreaming about my ex. I hate it. I hate my ex. Even if I met up with ex, it would only be for sex and undermine all the relationship I have been building with my current boyfriend.

i hear ya on the sexual frustration bit i get so sexually frustrated i could scream and i do also get really mean at times from lack of sex even tho you have toys they are no substitution for the real thing trust me and if he dont wanna give it up then you have to make a decision if he is worth the wait if so deal with the possiblility that you may not get sex or anything else you may need from him like a proposal i would let him know your feelings you have given him ample time to make up his mind then you have to make up yours is he worth it or not if not let him go if so wait if you feel you must go to your ex for a sexual encounter then be honest with him and yourself that is what it is and nothing more take care and good luck

I got a job at a pizza restaurant. I've worked for the same chain several years ago (a different location). I filled out the application online, made some nice customer comments about that particular location because it's my favorite place, and the owner called me last night! I was feeling really down when he called, so I look at this as a good sign, because it really made me feel better. This may sound totally lame or corny to you, but I'd much rather being doing something, even if it's just making pizzas, or taking orders for them, then sitting around at home being broke. I need to help out my family, but I also feel better about myself when I'm working, like I'm "contributing to society " by having a job. Ok, so I'm not curing cancer, but treating people nice can really make the difference in somebody's day, and I will be working with the public, which I know I can do. It's been a long time since I've worked a cash register, but it didn't look hard, I'm planning to stay there as long as I need to to save money and go back to school to finish my child development credits, but I didn't tell the boss that. I think I conviced this new boss that I can handle it, so why am I so nervous? Any suggestions? I start my training friday. (link)

everyone is nervous about a new job you just have to do it and it will come back to you just be ontime and do the work assigned and go the extra mile like if he ask you to work on your day off or if he ask you to work extra hours you will be fine just remember what your goals are in life and dont lose sight of them take care of yourself and your family and be and honest person

Ever since I was little I couldn't talk to people I didn't know. When I became older, I started having the same problem with girls. I had a few girlfriends early in high school, but they asked me. They weren't really my type either. They always wanted to party and do drugs. I didn't. I guess that I am the last of a dying breed. My freshman dance was 2 years ago and I didn't even think about going because I was to shy to ask anyone. I always use the excuse that I have a rejection phobia. I am the person that you see at a party that is hanging out with with his friends because no one likes talks either. I can't just go up to a girl and say, hey do you want to go and see a movie this weekend or something. I used to be fat through elementary school and 7 and 8 grade. Then I went to the gym and I went from 250lbs to 180lbs. I am 6'1 so this weight is better. Even though I look better I still don't have the courage to talk to girls. I always think that if I ask them, after they turn me down that they will go off and blab to their friends and make fun of me. I have asked a couple of girls out and they say that they like me as a friend or that they don't have time for a boyfriend and then a couple days later someone else asks them out and they say yes. This year the prom is fast approaching and I didn't ask anyone. Someone tell me how to get over this. I am 17. I don't play sports, maybe thats why. Girls want sports guys. And I don't hang out with the popular crowd because they are too fake. Help.

well i have always heard it say nothing ventured nothing gained and i have heard it said if you are willing to try you have to eventually succeed so i would say at 17 we were all awkward except the popular kids but ask yourself what makes them popular clothes money that is all pretentious(fake) so i would say one day you will find the girl for you im sure there are girls who do not have dates for the prom ask one of your buddies if they have a sister that needs a date just a friendship date maybe they do make sure they dont hook you up with the school dork tho that would be mean let it be known to your buddies that you are available if they know any girls that would be right for you in the mean time hit the books and get the grades so you will not have to worry about taking a bit of time off when mrs right walks into your life do normal things like teenage things to get your mind off girls so much it will happen when it is suppose to happen and not before just make it be known to everyone that you are looking for mrs right or someone close to it well take care and i hope i have helped

Ok, I know my category says "Mental Illness" but I don't have psychological problems.
For the past 3 or so years I have really really been doubting any sort of religion at all - I was born Muslim, but I guess now I'm Secular Humanist.
My question is: How did you stay feminist and Libertarian w/o compromising your Christian beliefs? 'Cause some of the stuff in the Old Testament is disgusting. I mean, if it was anything else, I wouldn't mind if i disagreed with part of it...but since it's religion, how do ya deal with it? (link)

well actually im at sort of a cross road in my life with religion and God and all im not sure if there is a God or if he cares or if what happens just happens and we are just to accept it i was involved with the mormons and they have some great points but due to my not following exactly as they believed i was excommunicated which was not the end of the world i have had some major problems with my son and i wonder what the heck God was doing while i was going thru that well im not so sure who to blame but i do know that God gets a bum wrap sometimes even if there is one or isnt one take care

My ex fiencee, Tim, left me two days before my birthday. He left me at the worst time of my life. Since then we haven't talked much...and now he suddenly shows up and tries to apologize. I am so angry with him, but I still love him very very much. I want to hate him...I really do...but I can't. When he left, I started getting my life back into order, although it'd fall apart right after. I have a boyfriend now, but he means next to nothing to me. I don't want to let Tim hurt me again. Im so scared because I just had my period a few months ago and Im 12 yrs old. thats not what im worried about though. i fingred myself and I dont know how deep i went but it wasnt that deep i dont think, but then I went to the bathroom and i saw that i was bleeding from my vagina but i don know if its from my period or not...its almost around the time when i usually have it but im scared because did anything bad happen when i fingred myself? or is it just my period? well from my experience you cannot damage yourself from just fingering it is your period more than likely but if you cant ask your mom ask your mom to take you to a gynecologist dr for females tell her what you did and ask her but im almost sure it is just your period
