Alright. So I like this guy..a lot. I never told him it, but we talk all the time. We met a while ago because we used to have the same problem. But He's so great and everything the only problem is that he's turning 16 this year and I'll be 18 in a month. I want to tell him how I feel, but I'm scared he'll think I'm wierd or something because I'm older. or I'm scared about what people would think. I mean I want to tell him, but he lives about 2 hours away, and we never see each other.And when we talk, we talk about Everything and anything. I don't know what to do. I'm probably not even making any sense. So should I tell him how I feel about him, or just let it go? (link)

The fact that you'll be an adult, and he'll be a minor is an important thing to consider, and long distance relationships almost never work. If you never see each other, it'll be impossible to maintain a relationship.

Well last night my mom and I had a fight and she said well if your dads so great go live with them so I started to cry, I sent a text message to my dad and step mom and I was like well if it comes down to it can I live with you. They havent replied and so I sent them another one about a hour ago. Still no answer my mom has been a real bitch lately and I dont know what to do somtimes I want to go live with my dad but I really dont like my mom just its my friends and the skit we are doing for the variety show that makes me want to stay. Please help.

Your mom probably didn't mean it. When people get mad they say things they don't mean, even parents do it. Your mom probably senses the way you feel towards her, and I'm sure she's hurt by this. That's why she said what she did to you.

Ok I am 16/m and my father recently passed away. He was the only one taking care of me and my little sister, Sarah.(my mother diched us when Sarah was born.) Sarah is only 6 and I've been trying to take care of her and myself but it's not working. We don't have any other relatives that she can go live with and I can't keep taking care of her. My school counselor has been trying to help us anyway he can and he recommended handing her over to the state. He said that it would be easier on the both of us if I did and it would give her a chance at a better life. He said that there a lot of foster families out there who end up adopting the children that they take in. Does anyone know how the "system" works? I mean if I do give her to the state will she be safe or is she better off with me? It's really hard for me to take care of her and I don't feel like I'm a good parental figure. I have a job but it doesn't pay enough to take care of the two of us. So if anyone knows anything about the foster care system or whatever it's called please let me know. I want to make sure that it's safe for her so that I can determine what will be better for her. Thank you.

My experience with foster homes was not good, and I was in 4 of them. I was 6 when i was in my first one, and my foster parents were really awful. I was moved around so many times in my childhood, and the state ended up having a drawerful of files on me by the time I was 12. They ended up just putting me back with my mother, and she was the reason I had been in foster care in the first place. In my case the system really did not work. It was also the case for 1/2 of the other kids I came across in the foster homes,they ended up having a lot of psychological issues.

I am 15/f and I haven't had a crush in 2 years! Lately, I've been thinking, and I don't know if I am bi or straight! when you're 15 it's not unusual to look at other girls like that. It doesn't mean you're bisexual. Maybe you should stop worrying so much. Being confused it usually part of being a teenager, get used to it. And geez don't randomly make out with people either!! That's a great way to get cold sores or Mono. You people are nuts.

A great way to do a timeline is with a Power Point presentation. It's professional looking and very easy to do. You can use pictures, sounds, and video clips. There are lessons on how to do it online, they have the program at schools and libraries.

I just started tanning and the other day my mom told me to make sure to wear a bra when i go in because its bad if i dont. Is that true? Could i get breat cancer from not wearing one? Or any thing else because i thought that tanning could only give you skin cancer and eye damage. (link)

In Pennsylvania a 17 year old girl got Melanoma. She had to have a chunk of tissue removed from her arm. The hole left from removing the tissue was the size of a golf ball.It was detected early, or it could have been much worse. She was left with a scar on her arm about 1 1/2 inches long, she was lucky.

Good morning-
I have been working at a job I am happy with for 9 months, but my supervisor feels I demean her in front of her boss, especially during meetings. We are all asked for our opinions on what we feel might go wrong with a particular project my boss is in charge of (which has been behind on it's implementation), but I know that in the end the problems I currently see will be resolved. I give honest answers in these meetings (in front of the VP), but she feels I volunteer too much information on the problems we currently face in front of him and this embarasses her. There are bugs with the system, and we have several weeks to correct them. I have been told I have embarrased her twice before in meetings regarding this project, and I just want my questions answered, for I am the one responsible for the outcome once the project is complete and implemented. She feels since I question her in front of the boss, I am belittling her and she tells me I am out of line. She has held me accountable for this once in front of other associates not in my department, and once in a sit down meeting that I instigated because of the first incident. My review is due in less than 2 months, and am TERRIFIED I am going to get a bad review just because I am trying to get a better comfort level here. This position is close to home, pays very well, but I have to work some long hours due to this project implementation. The bottom line is that I don't want to leave and want to work things out. I get support from one other person on my team, who is not her supervisor. He doesn't feel I'm doing anything wrong, but I need to have an outsider's opinion before I go crazy. I am hoping that someone can assist me, for I feel that if I don't get a better handle on things with my own approach and attitude that I either will be fired or will want to leave (which is where I feel I am at right now). Perhaps it's the way you say things in front of the VP. The way we state certain things can effect the way certain people hear them. Such as "I think you're not doing this correctly", you could say instead " the way you're doing that works, but i think I know a way that might work better". Good Luck

ok say you go get tested and they say you have herpes, how will they know if the herpes was from giving someone head or if it was from air borne herpes(which is when u can get it just by breathing in the air) or if it was from switching saliva. like by sharing drinks.. whats the difference.. and if u go get tested and you have herpes how can they tell which one you have..???? If you live by yourself in PA, and not with your parents, you can apply for the access card. this will allow u to see doctors that take the access card. You are eligible to have it, if you have no job, or if you have a job that doesn't pay well or offer medical insurance. But if you have no job and turn 21 it runs out, which is what happened to me.

OK, this is really wierd, but whenever i look into somewhere dark, i see white blurs in the shapes of people. I have this shirt that is 100% cotton. It's a bit too loose and it's suppose to be form-fitting. I want to shrink it so it fits my body but not too much because then it won't fit at all! How can I make it shrink just a tiny bit? PS dont tell me to return it! (link)

wash with warm or hot water, then hang dry it, when it's still slightly damp wear it. that should help.

After 10 years you get used to a person, and having them in your life. When you breakup and move on it feels like you're losing that part of your life. if the relationship isn't a good one, you should move on and find one that is. it's always hard breaking up with someone. ESPECIALLY after so long. but you can do it. Just be strong and believe in yourself.

It sounds to me like you may have a problem with self esteem. Instead of having someone else ask a boy to dance with you. Try going over and saying hello. Be positive and friendly,it will give them a reason to dance with you.
