Thats soo scary! I swear to god the same thing happens to me sometimes.. Actually last night i woke up in the middle of the night, sat up, and saw a dark figure hovering over my bed. Yea.. its really scary. I just try not to look, or i go to a different room for a while and watch tv or something. Just try to get your mind off of it.

well u have been given a gift. it may not seem so fun at times but at one point it will come in handy. you are wat they call a medium, a person who can see and feel the presence of the dead.

It is probaly a problem with your cones, rods, and pupils in your eyes.

FunnyCide answered Saturday May 14 2005, 10:34 am:
They're not ghosts or dead people. Don't listen to people who say that. It is a problem with your rods and cones and pupils in your eyes. I have the same thing. I don't know what the scientific term is, but your eyes are having trouble adjusting to the darkness and are catching slivers of light from outside, a nightlight, under the door etc. and reflecting that light so you can see better. That's what your pupil is for. Your muscles in your eye might be lazy, or lax. Or perhaps the rods and cones are damaged. Maybe both. I think it's damaged rods and cones, though. There isn't a way to fix it, just go keep lights on, and gradually dim the light so it's not a "100 watt light on.. complete darkness" situation. That's going to hurt your eyes. You could sleep with your closet light on, or the bathroom/hall light, or even a nightlight, and that should seriously reduce the problem. You could go see an opthamologist (eye doctor - I don't think I spelled that right) and they might perscribe glasses or something, but it's not a serious problem with your eyes. It's all in your head. Just convince yourself and believe that it's nothing supernatural - only your rods and cones. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Hey, I know everyone is telling you they are ghosts huh?? Well I had the same problem. What it is, is that your sensitve to light so when your in the dark you eyes dont....work right so it takes a little bit for the to ajust. Do see an Eye docter and always wear sunglasses or a hat so it doesnt get worse!

well you might be seeing ghosts usually they are white have you had anybody die in your family it could be them or it could just be your guardian angel everybody has a guardian angel you could just be seeing ghosts it's ok if it's one of your family members because they wouldn't hurt you they are harmless you could take this problem maybe to like a school counseler or just tell your parents i would do something fast before it gets any worst if you said when you try and get a closer look it's probably a ghost do something before it gets any worst.

okay, don't freak out. they're probably just appiritions (ghosts) if you don't want them in your house, just say "you aren't welcome here, go away." be firm and assertive. trust me it will work.
*Good Luck*

wow,id be freaked out but that would be so cool to see that! if they are spirits they probably wont freak you out though since they did not try to scare you. Act like there welcome there no that you need your room though! This is a true story -- i was moving out of my house. [[im a 16 year old female]]We,my family and i, were half-way out of the house. [[our furniture was almost all out and everything to our new house]].Well, one night i was home alone in my old house,[[not the new one because it didnt have that much food]] and i heard voices upstairs.I was downstairs on the computer. I thought it was the t.v so i wasnt scared. But when i went upstairs to get a glass of water and some food,i noticed they had moved the t.v and there was no tv in our house anymore!! I was freaked out that night was very frightening.

but of course,it could have been people outside, and what you are seeing could be shapes of objects of some sort reflecting and it may seem to cast the image of a human. look around your room do you have mirrors, and objects like tall lamps?
