You do whatever you want to it, whether it's trimming, shaving, waxing, leaving it as it is.. there's no right or wrong things to do, it's whatever YOU prefer. :)

I've dyed my hair a few times in the past, but I've rarely bleached it. Colour seems to show up very well despite my dark hair. Now I really want to dye it red but I'm worried about bleaching it again. Should I?
What condition is your hair in at the minute? I advise you to go to a reputable hairdressers and check. I know people who bleach their hair blonde every month and its absolutely fine.. Then again, I know people who have done it once and come out worse off.
It all depends on the condition your hair is in and what you do to it every day to style it.
Either way, consult a specialist. and have them dye it too if you go ahead with it.
If you can't decide whether you're going to like it, why don't you do it to a bit of your hair first. Like flashes. and see how it looks.
Today, I went out with my yellow Hunter rain boots for the first time. When I got in the bus, this girl starred at me really weird and it made me uncomfortable, not that I care what other people think. Just wondering, but what is her problem? Also, in general, is yellow rain boots weird or too bright to wear? I always thought the classic rain boots used to be yellow.
I love Hunter wellies! They can jazz up an outfit or dress it down, depending what you wear with them.
This girl isn't a wellies fan by the sounds of it.
but who cares what kind of looks you get - if you like 'em, wear 'em!
Ok, I am 19 years old. I am a male. I really want to get snake bites and earrings. here's why
1) I think they could fit me
2) I want to look better and not so much as a dork
3) I'm just into piercings.
Any thoughts on this. I will take whatever thoughts you have. I am more of a person who get's others opinions before making a decision
Go for it, you'll never know unless you try.
I've had 3 lip piercings in total. I only kept 1 in in the end though. I took one out soon after it was pierced which left me with no scarring.. but the other was in for a good 7ish months which has left me with a little dot. So if you go for it and think you made a bad decision, the sooner you take it out, the better it'll heal.
If you decide you want lip piercings, consider getting one done at a time. I say this, because some people react differently and get pretty swollen - whereas others don't. Also, it's strange to eat at first. So if you only get one side done first, you can eat on the other side while it heals. and then you can get the other piercing after yours has healed.. Which can take some lucky people anywhere between 2 weeks and the average healing time 4-8 weeks (like I said, everyone is different)
Now onto the ears.. Ear piercings (lobe) rarely get in the way. At night for the first few days while it's a bit tender, sleep on your back (if you get both ears pierced) and be extra careful when getting dressed so you don't forget and accidentally snag them. and if you have longer hair, be careful it's kept away while they heal.
Other parts of the ear (cartilage) are pretty much the same - they just take longer to heal and are more tender at first.
Just remember, go to a reputable piercer and he/she will explain it all to you anyway. So if you're still uncertain about what you should do, go for a little chat. :)
Let me know what the outcome is. and if you need further help, don't hesitate to contact me.
Good luck!
Hi!
I'm 21 years old, in college. I'm looking for a good pair of shoes to buy that I can kinda wear for everyday outfits. it's getting colder so flip flops are out of the question, and I can only buy so many pairs of flats, plus those can get uncomfortable. I want something that is dressier than a tennis shoe, but nothing too fancy. Something that can be worn with jeans and shirt. What is fashionable right now?
Do you like "Toms" shoes?

What about pixie boots?

I've been wearing the above quite a bit.
Hello.
I'm considering removing my pubic hair to surprise my boyfriend. I was wondering if shaving or waxing was better. Also are there any tips i should know. I'm kind of nervous about waxing so if there are any tips on shaving they would be much appreciated. Thanks
xx :)
Waxing lasts longer, so if you're looking to be smoother for longer, wax.
Shaving however, is painless (unless you cut yourself!) Just make sure you go slow and you use a decent razor. Always do it when you're in the bath or shower and be careful with which direction you go. Going against the hair growth will get you a closer shave, but can cause skin irritation. There's nothing more to it. It's just like shaving your legs. :)
any ideas for crazy hair
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig, back combed hair! Spray in some glitter and colour.
You won't need to do anything drastic and it'll all easily wash out. :)
Google "back combed hair" for some pics and how to do it if you're not sure.
Don't forget to fix it with lots of hair spray!
I just got my hair cut and me stupidly saying I want change I got it short. I feel like a little girl and I hate it it makes me want to cry. I allways have bad luck. There's nothing I can do until it grows out which wont be for a couple of months I can't wait that long. School starts soon to so I'm gonna look like a loser I already have confidence problems and now this makes it worse I can't get extensions or anything bc I don't have that money andmy parents sure won't pay for it. I feel stupid pleasee I'm 16f
Any way you can post up a picture? I'd love to help with styles you could pull off 'til it grows out.
How long ago did you get it cut? I remember when I'd get my hair cut, I didn't like it most times.. I cursed myself for getting it "too short" but a week or two later, it started to grow on me (excuse the pun!) and I had fun experimenting with different styles.. not only that, I'd change make up to suit it better, too.
If you still don't like it after a little while, it's not the end of the world - just a mistake you know not to make again :P
Hair grows. just think of the next few months as a change. Change is good every now and then. Plus, now it's shorter, you've got rid of damaged/dead ends and give your hair a chance to grow into luscious full locks!
So, I would honestly rate myself maybe a 3 or 4. That's what my (thankfully very honest) guy friends have said as well. Now before you get on to them, I am best friends with these guys and I begged them for honesty, so it's not like they randomly said, "Damn, you're ugly." ya know?
Anyways, I know at that rating it's impossible to be "pretty" on the outside, but I was just wondering, what are some things to look more presentable, closer to the "5" average?
Weight loss? Something different with my hair? I've been told there's really not much I can do and it's a matter of my face just "doesn't work." I have heard that I have a cute smile and pretty eyes though, so I figure maybe there's hope?
Any advice would be appreciated. Comments from trolls will simply be laughed at. :)
This is why you should never ask people to rate you! Some guys might think you're incredibly attractive, whereas others won't - that's life - not everyone likes the same things. Everyone is different in their own, individual way - you should be happy everyone's not clones :)
Anyway! Weight loss? Well, do you need to lose weight? If so, definitely. May I also suggest, tone up for summer. Working out makes you glow and look radiant, as well as look better and get fit.
Something different with your hair? Yes! Go for it. A lot of the time, girls feel boring and "ugly" if they've looked the same for a while. Changing yourself up boosts your confidence. Hair dye, cut, can't go wrong. :)
I'd really love to see a picture of you to help with the make up side of things, but you didn't add one. There's endless possibilities with make up. It's all about finding what works for YOU, which shades look good with your skin/hair, etc, so experiment. Good eyebrows also help structure the face, so if they're in need of a pluck, or perhaps you overplucked and are in need of an eyebrow pencil, groom away.
How about your clothes? Are you in need of a change/new style? Clothes help boost everyones confidence!
If you need any help, with anything in particular, feel free to inbox away!
I dyed my hair red the other night and it was so pretty and beautiful and shined. I was happy with it. Well, when I wash my hair I can see a bunch of red coloring coming out and going down the drain. I even ruined a white towel because the dye was running out of my hair. My hair already losing that shine and the red color but my hair color was permanent. Why won't the hair dye stay in my hair? The color just won't hold at all apparently. Why? & I'm a natural brunette if that matters?
I have the same problem. I thought it was just the brand of dye, but they all did the same thing.
I spoke to my friend who works in a salon and she explained to me that dyes you buy from a store aren't concentrated enough - if you want lasting results, get it done professionally - they use better products.
My toes are hairy.. what should i do about that? (im a chick)
Everyone has hair on their body, it's normal and natural.
It's just the fact that some people make a lot of effort to get rid of it.
If you don't like it, remove it! (shave, wax, etc)
today i got a haircut and its past my shoulders and i like everything but the bangs. they look horrible, i asked for long side bangs and she cut my left side just straight across kinda ..above my eyebrow. i hate it, how can i fix it till it grows out? all i know is a headband. i cant even clip it back.. any ideas or pictures??
Ah man, I'm in the same boat at the moment!
Normally, when you just cut your hair, it looks different to what it will look like in a few days time. Wash it, blow dry, straighten (or whatever you normally do) and see if your hair settles into a different position. If it doesn't...
You could risk going to a hairdresser again and see what they can do, they can chop into it for you to make it less straight (if you're not confident doing it yourself)
Play around. Crack out lots of hair appliances/products and get creative. You can buy some really cute hair pins etc now too, so have a gander at what can help make your hair look prettier. Without buying a clip on fringe (sadly, they do sell those! lol), you will just have to accept it.. but remember, it will only be for about a month 'til it's longer.
Just remember... it could always be as short as this persons!

Hope that cheered you up somewhat. :)
P.S.. try not to make it all about your hair.. so what, you've got a bit of a short fringe.. enhance your eyes (makeup) to bring the attention to them instead. :)
How do you get the end ball of the barbell off? I figured you just twist it but it won't come off? I just got my industrial done in February and I wanna switch the barbell but it won't twist off.
Are you twisting it the right way? try the other ball, on an industrial, there should be two?
Sometimes, when you get them done, they screw them on really tight so it doesn't accidentally unscrew and fall out - if you can't do it yourself, go back to the place you had it done and they'll do it for you.. or any other piercing parlour - but they may cost a small fee.
I was just wondering if any has any suggestions for a really good foundation - preferably something with full-coverage and with a flawless look?
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid.
I've used it for months now. It gives you that air brushed finish.. To be honest though, I don't care about that part, I use it mainly for when I get the odd blemish, which may I add, covers them up brilliantly.
It's "air whipped" meaning it's light and doesn't cost a bomb.
My hair is always to greasy after flat ironing it. I use baby powder to clear it up, but that never lasts for long. I shampoo often and use a clarifying shampoo. I even clean my flat iron. But when I leave it curly, there's no grease. How to I keep my hair looking straight but fresh?
Few things to consider/try out:
*If you've been using the same shampoo for a while, switch! Your hair becomes used to the same products, therefore not working as well. Preferably use one that's for greasy/oily hair. Apply it twice instead of once, just to make sure you've got rid of any products etc the first time around.
*Don't put conditioner at the roots. Always apply it starting from mid length, to ends. Or don't use it at all.
*Don't rub your head too much when washing.
*Rinse your hair with cool water at the end of washing.
*Once you've straightened your hair, add a touch of extra hold hair spray - I find after straightening my hair and use it, it keeps it looking better for longer.
*Do you use straightening balm/serum? If you do, it may be too oily, so switch that too.
I wanna bleach my hair blond but I cant afford to go to the beauty salon or stylist. Can I just use clorox bleach on hair? If I can how much do I use and how do I do it for the best blonde?
I promise I will rate you!
After researching it, I have to say, it is a big risk!
"Since Clorox doesn't recommend that their product be used for hair, a study has not been done to determine how each shade of hair will respond to the bleach. Therefore, let go of any goals of a specific color.
Think twice if your hair is darker than medium brown. Darker hair colors tend to go through several different shades of orange until they go blonde, and a botched bleach job has turned many wanna-be blondes into people with orange hair who can't get into the salon for a corrective color soon enough."
Taken from http://www.ehow.com/how_5082551_bleach-hair-clorox-bleach.html
If you can't afford to go to the salon, next time you go shopping, check out the DIY bleach kits they have - I know they're a lot cheaper - also, ask a salon if you can buy your own bleach and have them do it for cheaper?
hi is there any way to prevent a ring from turning your finger green?
Coat the inside of the ring with CLEAR nail varnish. and try not to get the ring wet.

I have no clue what i should do my make up like? This week I'm having a Halloween dance at my school. Any tips on how to do my make up real nice? (It's not a formal or costume dance) I might have my first kiss this Friday, and i want to look good haha plus i do need some new tips.
the make up i have is:
-black mascara
-brown eyeliner
It's a dance, not a formal and you want to IMPRESS!
Don't settle for normal, every day make up.
From what you have, I like the sound of the green OR blue eyeliner/turquoise eyeshadow (or both liner and shadow if you are daring) by the way, what are you wearing? You can either match your outfit or do a clever contrast ;)
If you can get hold of some liquid black eyeliner, put it across the top of your lids and make it flick out.
Here's a pic of me if you don't get what I mean:
http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs181.snc1/6011_123991069136_512059136_2082701_6680137_n.jpg
Anyway, put the coloured eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes (not the rim - save that for black pencil eyeliner if you have it) and try putting the shadow on the outer corners of your eyes, to bring them out and really make them sparkle.
I don't know if the pic's clear enough, but if you click on my column, I have purple eyeshadow on the outer corners.
Finish off with mascara and a dab of glitter on the sides of your eyes under the eye shadow.
In the time you have left..Experiment, experiment, experiment! Browse lots of pics from the internet and lastly, have an awesome night.
Hey, I need a VERY cute outfit to wear to school what should i wear. Its gonmna be sunny (aka i live in southern cali.)
If it's sunny, wear something to keep you cool, yet still be practical enough for school (not showing off too much flesh).
Example:
Jean shorts and a colourful vest top, with nice sandles or flats, complete with accessories (belt, etc)
Maybe exchange the shorts for a summery skirt.
Wear leggings/footless tights underneath either for a different look.
I've been buying a lot of vest tops lately, as they come in every colour and pattern under the sun.. and they're cheap! You can mix and match them with everything and can dress them up or down.
Have fun experimenting :)
i really want a cartilage piercing but im really scared of a couple things ...
1. does it hurt when they put the needle through??
and does it hurt ALOT after wards
2. does it get caught in your hair or clothes?
3. how long does it take to heal and how long b4 i can change it ..some ppl say it take 1 year to fully heal is that true?
thankss in advance :)
julia
*Make sure it's done with a needle - it's quicker, safer and heals faster, because a gun just rips through.
1. Focus on your breathing. If you breathe in as you get pierced, it's not half as bad! It doesn't hurt that much, just feels like a quick pinch. Then it will throb (no pain) for a while after.
2 Depends what you're pierced with. Just be wary when you pull things over your head and when you sleep. If you catch it, it'll hurt a little bit but it'll soon go off.
3. A year to be safe, but everyone is different! Listen to your piercer.
