I'm 21 years old, in college. I'm looking for a good pair of shoes to buy that I can kinda wear for everyday outfits. it's getting colder so flip flops are out of the question, and I can only buy so many pairs of flats, plus those can get uncomfortable. I want something that is dressier than a tennis shoe, but nothing too fancy. Something that can be worn with jeans and shirt. What is fashionable right now?
DearAbby92 answered Sunday September 25 2011, 2:51 pm: Riding boots are really great for fall. You can get the traditional leather riding boot, or get one that looks edgier. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Or you can get the slouchy suede like boots, I have a pair of those and I wear them all the time in the fall. (I got mine at payless for pretty cheap! Or my friend got a pair of steve madden boots at a DSW kind of store, and only paid $15 because they were out of season!) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
I have a pair of coach sneakers that are gold toned and are practical enough for every day but the gold makes them unique enough to spice up an outfit. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
I see a lot of people with moccassins, which isn't the most stylish thing but people definitely make them work into a indie/casual but cute vibe. Also, you can get moccassins really cheap because most brands look almost identical; I've seen cute mocs at Walmart for under $20 and I've seen cute Ugg mocs at a much more expensive price.
Also, invest in some heel pads for your favorite flats. I've had blisters on my heels for a week because I didn't invest in some pads, and trust me I regret it.
