I am wearing a kind of a fire-truck red dress to an event, what is a good color nail polish to wear with it. NOT a matching shade of red, or pink. Oh and I am wearing red shoes too

wat trends are in style now? Also, how do you pull of the belt on the waist? I dont kno how to do it...

Trench coats and plaid are coming back. Skinny jeans are slowly on their way out again. Big, bulky yellow totes are coming in. Ballet flats are still in. Nautica is becoming increasingly more popular. The belt around the waist can't be pulled off by most people, don't do it if you have large breasts...wear the belt around your waist, below your breasts but above your waist. NOT right below your chest because it'll look incredibly dorky.

why do American woman believe that "letting it all hang out" is sexy. Isnt modesty just as hot?

I personally think that it is more attractive to be modest because it gives men a reason to respect you, even if they don't get to see your breasts partially exposed in public. A lot of American women believe that it is attractive to "let it all hang out" because they confuse attraction for lust. I think it's gross and skanky.

are uggs still in style and if they are do you wear them with your pants tucked into them or kept out?

I think they're uglier than sin.

Ok, I dress very Chici-ish and my friends make fun of my fashion sence what should i tell them?

Tell them that you dress the way you want to. It's only...really...exteriorly expressing yourself, I guess. And if they make fun of you for anything and it's more than just playful teasing, they're not your friends.

are there any stores that sell hollister and abercrombie for less cuzi im on a tight budget! please help if you know any stores! =]

i've tried putting on liquid foundation before but i can't seem to find the right shade for my skin tone. its really frustrating! Are there any tricks to finding the right shade from looking at the bottle in the store? also, when i put foundation on in a duller light in my bathroom it looks fine, but if i turn on a brighter light it looks incredibly horrible!...like you know how everybody had very very light, almost invisible facial hair (i guess)..all over your face, well they become more visible i suppose. but i am not sure if its supposed to be like that. AHHH please helppp!

When you buy foundation, try the tester at the store or hold up the bottle to your jawline and compare it to your skin tone. As for the weird facal hair situation, use more moisturizer to tone it down.

14/f. i'm starting school soon and i have two questions:

1) i dont know what to wear on the first day of school. i want to wear jeans, but my school has no air conditioning, and i don't want to be hot. so i thought i would wear a jean skirt, but i think that everybody will wear skirts, and i don't want to be like everybody else. oh and i really don't like wearing shorts, so any good ideas?

2) also i have a problem for school picture day. i always straighten my hair, and that is what i want to do on picture day. but since my school doesn't have air conditioning, i'm worried that my hair will curl and frizz by picture time. i have my pictures taken 7th period, which is the second to last period of the day.

Ew your school has no air conditioning? Sucks for you! Anyway, I'd suggst staying away from vests, leggings and skinny jeans because that's most likely what everyone will be wearing since it's in style this month. Go for something unique. As for your hair, use John Frieda Frizz Ease Spray. It's great and it usually lasts all day! Good luck!!!

I just got a job at Guess? and I'm meeting my manager and staff for the first time on thursday.
Should I get my nails done? Like get a new set. A lot of the people who shop there have fake nails. I have a gift certificate for this nail place so I was wondering if I should go ahead and get them done. The last I had them was for my prom and I really liked them. I just don't want to be slow on cash or folding or having them think I'm too snobby to do any work but I'm pretty sure that they want everyone there to look really good.
Right now, my nails are pretty wrecked because I pulled off my fake nails from prom and they're really gritty and stuff so I thought it's better to get them. What do you think?

Fake nails are kind of a waste of time unless you wear them for prom like you did. Like what if you were to go ahead and put fake nails on for the first few days or week of work or whatever and then you didn't have time to make them look nice when you pulled them off? Then you'd have crappy nails. I'd say you should just invest in a good manicure instead because it'll last longer but look nice and be your natural nail. Good luck with your new job!!

I was really late to catch up on the trend, which is probably like a year old, that's why I begged my mom to let me buy a miniskirt. B4 the whole legings thing my mom would never let me look at a minskirt when were shopping. I ended up buying a mini + leggings and was planning to wear it on the 1st day of school. Is this a good idea or would i end up looking like the fashion disaster i can always be when i try to go for a look diffrnt than the usual [jeans + tee]? What i fear the most is what evry 1 else is gonna say. School starts in 2 wks and i cant make up my mind. The 1st day is one of the only days i get to look especially nice. The outfit i was planning to wear looks nice w/ or w/o, IMO. I have to wear the mini and leggings to school or my mom would deem me as wasting her money. This isnt the 1st time i would look at something and say "Oh,that's cute" and buy it and wear it to school, to then realize its not that cute of a shirt or whatever and never wear it again. Like last year when i bought a bright pink cropped hoodie/sweatshirt... Lets just say that color pink was definetly not my color.
Anyways, what should i do?

Personally, I'm pretty sick of the leggings trend. Because they totally kicked ass when they first came out...like I'm the first person out of people I know that wore them. I still like the trend but it's like everywhere and I'm guessing skinny jeans and miniskirt/leggings will be all anyone wears the first day of school. So if I were you, I'd pick something different to wear.

im going school shopping tomorrow. i get like $100-200. but my style is like delias but they are pretty expensive so i dont want to waste half my money on one outfit. what are some stores that have those kind of clothes but are cheap? thankss.

Delia*s is my all time favorite store. But yeah, it's super expensive. I'd say buy things there that are on sale but also check out Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, and Forever 21 because places like that are starting to get the same type of clothing styles.

What does it mean to get your hair "blown out"
at a salon?

Blow dried. They call it "blown out" because it gives it much more volume.

Does anyone know how to figure out your bra size at home? I hate going into the stores and having the people measure you.

Go to Victoria's Secret and have them measure you. It's really accurate and then you know what size to get. But if you're really all that uncomfortable about getting measured by someone else, just go to wherever you buy your bras from, grab a range of sizes that look like that might fit you and try all of them on.

ok so im wearing skinny jeans the first day of school and im trying to figure out what shoes go good with them? any suggestions?

Avoid sneakers and bulky shoes like that. The cutest skinny jean outfits I've seen recently included ballet flats, pointy-toed flats (and high heels, just so you know anyway), and Classic Vans Slip-Ons.

I have this prolem where people keep pointing out that i have rather large boobs. It is really embarassing and it makes me feel very uncomfortable. I am a 34B.
So i guess i want to know if there is any way to appear smaller or make my breats less noticeable.
I wear a lot of polos and dont really like very baggy clothes.

Hey 34B isn't that big anyway so they should shut up!!! Haha my boobs are the same size and my ex-boyfriend makes fun of me anyway too. If they're not joking then wow, they're mean. Just wear a bra with no padding.

i mostly shop at ae, but now im starting to like hollister. if im a small in shirts at american eagle, what will i be at hollister? like are the sizes different or the same? thanks a lot:]

American Eagles sizes are a little bit bigger than Hollister sizes so you might be an extra small or maybe a small. I'd suggest trying clothes at Hollister on before you buy them just to be sure!!

Does putting eyeliner on your top lid, bottom lid, or both make your eyes look bigger and bolder?

Yes but if you wear too much black your eyes will just look like black holes in your face.

Normally for make-up, I just wear eyeliner, mascara, and the same eyeshadow every day. I put a little bit of liquid foundation to cover up problem spots. However, I want to make my eyes really stand out. What types of products could I buy, and how should I apply it?

I would suggest the Almay Intense I-Color line of eye makeup. They're sets of eyeliner, mascara and three different shades of eyeshadow. It shows you how to apply everything and it looks really pretty too. They come in sets for blue, brown, green and hazel eyes and you can get them at Target and Wal-Mart.

What are some good ways to straighten my hair? I use a Conair Cermaic straightner now and when I'm done, some of it is still frizzy. Any good creams or anything you would reccomend?

Hahaha your subject or whatever is funny. I freaking hate ceramic straighteners...they do nothing for my hair too. I would suggest the Wet to Straight straightener, it's like $20 at Target and it's a great investment haha. Also Garnier Fructis leave-in conditioner is great for frizzy hair. So is Bed Head's Frizz Control Gel. Hope I helped.

i'm having trouble deciding what to do. i either want to continue growing my hair out until it gets really long or cut it really short. i want people's opinions on which is a cuter style.

I think they're both cute but personally, I am completely in love with Nicole Richie's new hair. It's adorable and I've seen her wear it like a hundred different ways and it always looks good.
