14/f. i'm starting school soon and i have two questions:
1) i dont know what to wear on the first day of school. i want to wear jeans, but my school has no air conditioning, and i don't want to be hot. so i thought i would wear a jean skirt, but i think that everybody will wear skirts, and i don't want to be like everybody else. oh and i really don't like wearing shorts, so any good ideas?
2) also i have a problem for school picture day. i always straighten my hair, and that is what i want to do on picture day. but since my school doesn't have air conditioning, i'm worried that my hair will curl and frizz by picture time. i have my pictures taken 7th period, which is the second to last period of the day.

I'm in the very same situation. I'm also 14. :]
1. Just wear jeans, and if it bothers you that much, wear a pair of capris and a light tanktop or tee shirt. Also put your hair up so it's out of the way, that way you won't be so hot.
2. Check the weather the day before. If it says it's going to be humid - definitely don't straighten your hair and just try something new, or even put your hair in braids the night before and it will be wavy the next morning. If you want it straight that bad - take your straightener to school and straighten it during lunch so that it won't be as frizzy as it would have been if you had done it in the early morning.

im 14/f too and my school doesnt have air conditioning either =[ haha.
1)i would wear jeans anyway. but wear a light shirt or sleeveless shirt like a cami(if your school's dress code isnt against that). you could always roll up your jeans and turn them into capris if it gets too hot.
2)that sucks that you have it at the end of the day! i feel so bad for you. but i saw a portable straightener in like CVS, walmart, etc. that was $20. so you can bring that with you to school and go to the bathroom to fix up your hair if it gets frizzy. and maybe put gel or hairspray in too to make it last longer.

not sure about 1, but on question 2 do you have a gym class? if you have gym you can straighten your hair then, or maybe they will give you a little more time to "premp" yourself since you have to wait so long, go to the bathroom or something and take care of it real quick (not sure how long it takes i honestly have very straight hair)

Ew your school has no air conditioning? Sucks for you! Anyway, I'd suggst staying away from vests, leggings and skinny jeans because that's most likely what everyone will be wearing since it's in style this month. Go for something unique. As for your hair, use John Frieda Frizz Ease Spray. It's great and it usually lasts all day! Good luck!!!

heyy so ive had much trouble in this category too hehe so i think that you should wear burmuda shorts i thought i was going to hate them when i tried them on i loved them! they really do look good or wear capris those always look good with flip flops or a cute shoe and about picture day go to somewhere like CVS and in the hair isle thing lol ahh they should have shampoo conditionar, moose and hairspray that are non-frizz buy a really small non - frizz spray and put it in your purse and around 5th or 6th period spray it on rite b4 pictures and you should be all set good luck hope i helped <3

okay, so if you want to wear jeans, but dont want to wear skirts or shorts, why not wear capris. they are about 3/4 length. most department stores have capris in denim or any other fabric. for your hair- get a frizz ease hair spray and spray it in right before your pictures

if that doesnt work, maybe bring in a hair straightner to school and go to the bathroom before 7th period and straighten your hair quickly.
