Q: ok, well i'm 13 and i like this guy a lot.
and i think he likes me too, which i guess is a plus. but there's a couple of problems.
before i go any farther, let me say that we're not dating.

problem number 1)i'm pretty shy.
2)we talk all the time on the computer and through text messaging, but we hardly ever talk in person. the last time we did talk in person was in early august :\
3)when i try to talk to him person adn what not, we don't talk much. it's basically one word answers.
4)i'm starting to like another guy 2 years older than me, even though i know i have no chance. BUT i still like both of them.

i don't know what to do. i need some real help.

I would go with the guy your age cause 15 year olds can hurt you more. they have more experience.. anyways. find out something the guy you like is interested in and talk to him ab that. for ex: if he likes soccer. ask him questions like : when is your next game? do you like your team? what position do you play? who do you play for? who is your coach? when do you practice?
there are hundreds of questions. just try not to ask yes or no questions cause then it will just be one answer. good luck!

Q: Alright, so there is this guy in my spanish class that i've had a crush on since like 6th grade. i know this sounds stupid, but i don't really talk to him that much. However, this year he sits diagonally from me. How do i get him to notice me, and how do i start talking to him, i guess to like become friends. I'm kind of friends with the guy that sits behind him, and he talks to the guy that i like.

also, there is this other girl that is really popular, who i think is ugly but all the guys like her, sitting right next to her.

you can drop your pencil and ask him to pick it up. that will break the ice a bit. then, just casually start talking to him. like, are you ready for the spanish test on friday? or, do you understand what our teacher is talking about. also, you can ask the guy you sit next to a question and then ask your crush what he thinks. something like that. just start off talking casually.

Q: I am very shy around guys that I like, especially older guys. My face gets all red and I get quiet. I am a sophomore and my friend wants to introduce me to her friend, who is a senior. The guy is interested in meeting me, and thinks I'm cute. I really don't want to blow it, so what do I do to open up more and act flirty?

be yourself and don't think too much. don't stress over this though, flirting is supposed to be fun! ask him questions about himself- it will show you are interested and not self absorbed. just relax and take deep breaths before you meet him. have fun and good luck!

Q: 14/f sorry in advance for this being soo long!

today i went to a ropes course for incoming freshmen to the highschool.i got really close to the people in my group and made new friends. i met this kid..lets call him nick.ive known nick since elementary school..but we never really became good friends..but we knew who each other was.today he was in my group and we spent alot of time together.i had one of my really good guy friends in my group too..his name is alex. me and alex were hanging out andd we were probably the craziest kids in the group.haha :] nick is kinda shy but about half way through the day he became more outgoing and talked to us..most of the day it was me,alex,nick and this kid vince hanging out.

me and nick ended up partnering with each other for a couple of the activities.we were getting along really well and were kind of flirting. we kept looking back at each other and smiling or standing near each other most of the time.

by the end of the day i really started to like nick..and i think he was interested in me too. i hope he was.=] but idk what would happen if we classes together in high school.my friend terri likes nick too but shes saying she doesnt so she can get over him..because he doesnt ever text her back or talk to her..and my friend alexa used to like him too but she says she doesnt anymore..but i think she still does.but she wont admit it because terri likes him too. i dont want to tell terri i might like nick because terri has liked nick for so long..like ever since elementary schoool.yeah 7 years.

how should i handle this?me and nick both are interested in each other but i dont know what to do because of terri..i would never want to hurt her feelings.but if something happens with nick and we have a chance i want to take it. any advice would be greatttt :)

If both your friends say they don't like Nick, then go with it! Even if you think they do like him, they say they don't. You can't help who you like. So tell them when you thikn the time it right that you do. And if they get mad, say "You both said you don't like him. I can't control that I do." They need to except that. If they were in your shoes, they would understand.

Q: 14/f this kid in my town and i hooked up before the summer. he told me that over the summer we can do whatever we want and then we can "catch up" afterwards. we both got with other people.. so camps over and all, and we hung out 3 times and hooked up then. he told me that he liked me, we talk online and text often. hes the kind of guys that gets a lot of girls (but hes nice and sweet.. not a manwhore) do you think he is going to ask me out or is it just a summer romance?

Well you guys seem like you did catch up a bit. I would still go with it. I mean if you like him and all. I would keep hooking up and if you want more then a friends with benefits relationship then ask him if you guys are going to ever go out. I can't really tell if it is just a summer thing though. Guys are so complicated and you can almost never read them. If he starts to ignore you when school starts.. then it was just a summer thing. If you guys keep hooking up then it it's not. Good luck!

Q: Heres the deal, I'm 18 and I've never been on a date or kissed a boy. (I know, wow, Never?!?! At 18?!?!) I'm going to be going on my first date soon. I feel so awkward about the fact that I've never dated before, especially since he has. I just want to know, you know, since I'm not in middle school it's not like some hanging out with a friend type of thing. But I've never been able to do that part to get used to dating. And I'm not going to be like, talking about some big forever relationship either. What do we talk about? Should I be like, hanging out, having fun, talking about nothing important. I wouldn't worry about this being your first date. He has hone through it already so most likely he is going to take the lead. He did ask you out after all so he is going to be interested in you. He will prob. ask you questions about yourself and just answer them honestly and be yourself. For example if he is like: "So are you still playing soccer?" Answer him then say "How is football going for you?" You know something like that. Sports are always really easy to talk about with guys- that is if he plays. But you can talk about music, movies, or tv shows. There has to be something you guys have in common. Just act casual and be yourself. He is already interested in you so now you just have to keep him interested. Act flirty and who knows by the end of the night, you may get your first kiss! Don't stress about it though- just have fun!

before I begin, kissing is fun. all you have to do is get the first time over with and after that everything is up hill. if you don't want to kiss him then don't. wait until you are ready. when you think you are, go for it. don't worry if you are bad or not. when you do start kissing him all of your problems go away. so just have fun.
if he starts not to like you because you won't kiss him,then forget him. there are other guys out there will accept it if you want to kiss them or not.
remember the first cardinal rule in kissing is to have fun!

Well first off, only french kiss him if you are comfortable. If you aren't just say you guys are moving too fast and if he gets mad he's not respecting you.
If you want to go for it. I must say it is alot of fun. Remember that a good kiss should have a beginning, middle, and end. Start kissing him and he will most likely poke his tongue into your mouth. Then just start moving your tongue in his mouth let him tongue go in your mouth let him suck on your tongue and you do the same. Honestly, once you start you forget about what you are doing and you just have fun because having fun is the best thiing to do.

It's hard to control how you feel- believe me i know. And bottom line, sometimes it's great, other times, it sucks.

The first think you need to do is talk to your friend. Sit her down and tell her that you are thankful that you have her as a friend who is willing to help and you really appreciate. But this is something you need to do on your own and if you do need help with it, you know you have her to turn to. (that is what friends are for anyways)
*You can add "You have tried helping before but I don't think it's working and Ishould deal with it on my own."
If she tries to get into it, then you need to not be as mice and just say that you do not need her help and she is making it worse. (you should only have to ask once anyway)

As for the guy. well, guys are confusing like really confusing. Write him a note, or text him, IM his whatever and say that your friend got a little to involved and you hope everything can be ok between you too and it would be great if he could try and forget what ever your friend did/said.

I am what my teacher calls me "a go-getter". Which is really true. When I want something I go after it, even if it means bending a rule a little. Basically what I am saying is, keep going after him. He might start to like you now that you friend isn't involved. Maybe try to get a group a friends to go out and then talk to him more. Or even just talk to him online.. that's what I did and now this guy and are are really close friends!

If you want to get over him though, try and find a different guy, I think that usually works. But it seems like you want him more then letting go.

I am just going to say 10 and 11 is wayyy young. Most 10 and 11 year olds don't even think/consider having sex. If I found out my 11 year old cousin and her bf had sex I would die. You are clearly not ready and that's what you need to tell him. You can use your age as an excuse even, just say, I think we are too young and if someone found out (PARENTS!) then we would both get in hugeeeee troble.

Just please don't do it because there might be stuff about sex that you guys don't know about.

I would only go for them if I wanted to go out with them. Your parents will prob. be the problem. You can tell them though, I am mature enough for a boyfreind and I really like him. I have had freinds who went behind their parents back and never told them she had a b/f. But that is your decision, I will admit, I have done it too! You should always give second chances. So try it again and if things are getting really sucky, then end it. If Max is getting to obsessive, and you don't like it, end it as soon as you can and as kindly as you can. Just tell him that you can't have a b/f right now or something. I usually say, I really need to focus on school right now or something.

Bottom line, give it another try only if you like him. If things start to go really down hill, end it.

There's not really a certain time when you should. Its when you are both comfortable to kiss eachother. The right moment.

There is nothing worse then not being comfortable and kissing. It makes everything go down hill.

No it's not weird at all. A matter of fact, a lot girls feel this way to make their first time to be more "pleasureable" and not hurtful.

Well, you can't "get him back", becuase you never had him. This same exact thing happened to me before and I know it sucks. You need to ask your friend why she is going with him when she knows you like him. However, maybe she likes him too? If she does, then there really isn't anything you can do. Maybe you can ask her if you could dance with him a time or two. If she doesn't like him, then you can try and steal him away. Flirt with him and say maybe we can dance one time at the dance...
