I'm very shy around guys that I like
I am very shy around guys that I like, especially older guys. My face gets all red and I get quiet. I am a sophomore and my friend wants to introduce me to her friend, who is a senior. The guy is interested in meeting me, and thinks I'm cute. I really don't want to blow it, so what do I do to open up more and act flirty?

Smile a lot..show you're interested but don't act TOO available. If you think its going well while you're talking, touch his arm lightly. Making physical connections makes flirting much more meaningful. Don't brag about anything, but make sure you sound interesting and intelligent. Be mysterious about certain things, and if you get nervous and start shaking, use hand motions when you talk. My guy friends make fun of me all the time for how much I use my hands when I talk, but they think it is really cute and quirky. And remember, he's interested in you, so you have the upper hand!

be yourself and don't think too much. don't stress over this though, flirting is supposed to be fun! ask him questions about himself- it will show you are interested and not self absorbed. just relax and take deep breaths before you meet him. have fun and good luck!
