Ok I need to know if I'm overreacting when it comes to something that happened today.
This is the story.

Last week I left for a convention[for a week[ thats about 12 hours from where I currently live. I have a boyfriend of a year and a half and he couldn't come with me. Everytime I called him he was at this girl dianna's house. They have been friends for about a year now. But when I'm there he never goes to her house and not to mention it was prom weekend. Then today I came back from the convention intenting to get a warm welcome. I called him on the phone and the only thing he could say was that he was sooo tired. So finally he got off the phone and said he was going to bed. So about an hour later I had to go to wal-mart to pick up my brother but before I went I cruised by my boyfriends house because I wanted to give him a hug before he was too asleep but his car wasn't at his house..but guess who I saw at wal-mart when I got there?Him and Dianna, he sure was happy. He didn't even notice that I was there..he was so focused on her. And so now I don't know if I'm overreacting or if something might be going on or what. Please help me.

Um no, you're not overreacting! He lied to you! You should have confronted him right when you saw him & his friend together at walmart. But since its too late for that, you need to pick up the phone & call him & let him know that you saw him. You need to ask him why when you had called him, he acted as if he was soo tired that he couldn't even speak to his GIRL FRIEND but he could go to walmart with another girl. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but sorry, I can't & I won't. I do believe that there's something going on between him & this friend. & if he's not, he's fuckin you over for another girl. Call him up & set him straight. ASAP.

I've been dating this guy for a month, and he's been really sweet - like he's just everything I'm looking for in a guy. Unfortunately, he's ALWAYS so busy with his fraternity, with college, & his job, that he never usually has time to see me. So, I only see him a like one/two days a week, and it's not that much because we live really close to each other. I've always been suspicious that he could have another girlfriend, and I've joked around, not thinking it could actually be the truth.

So, tonight we were on a date, and he was dropping me off at my house, and he was showing me a couple pictures of his cat on his phone and then all of a sudden he gets a call from someone called "Babe" with an area code of Austin, [we live in San Antonio.]

As soon as I saw it, I was like, OH BABE!? And he's like, "WHAT?" And I'm like, Ohh so you do have another girlfriend, and he's like, "ooh fuck this, you need to trust me."

Then finally when I got him to calm down he's like, "It's a guy, named Babe -- he's my friend."
& I'm like, oohhkay. I didn't believe it & I still don't. I called my best friend and she said he's probably playing me. Which makes me sorta sad.

Does it sound as if he's cheating, and if you think he is, how can I find out who this "BABE" person is?

Okay, so when me & my boyfriend first started talking to each other, I looked through is phone. I forget why but as I was scrolling through the phone book, I saw "baby." My body started to get hot & mad I was but I didn't say anything because we weren't really even together. After that I kept my eye on him but one night his friends were coming over to drink & watch boxing with us & come to find out, one of his friends is called baby. And that's no bullshit because were years into our relationship & everyone still calls him baby.

Point is, yeah, it sounds like bullshit but he may be telling the truth. If I would have cursed him out about "baby" in his phone book & he told me it was his bul, I wouldn't have believed him one bit.

I think the only way for you to really find out is to ask around. Or tell him to call "babe" in your face right that second on speaker phone & say that if he is telling the truth than he'd do it. Matter of fact you take the phone & you press call so that he doesn't try any tricks. & if he brings up trust, just say "well I'm sorry, you can be telling me the truth but if you were in my shoes I bet you'd feel the exact same way." Try it out. If he doesn't let you call, he's playin you.

I dated my exboyfriend for over a year and last week he broke up with me...I was very upset becuase I love him. I begged him to take me back...and he wouldn't he told me that I stressed him out so much.

Then we started talking and the way he was acting it seemed like he wanted to get back together. So i asked him about it and he said he didnt. I said I wanted to come over to his house and he didnt seem intrested

Then last night he called me and was telling me all about his day and was like "Do you still want to come over tommorrow" so I was like sure.

I went over and it was awkward, we were watching a movie and i guess you could say we started playing footsies then he started tickling me, so i was tickling him back and then he just kissed me.

Then he was like "I really don't want to be in a realationship" and I was trying to find out if he would want to ever be with me again and I was like I'll change we can start over,everything would be different now. But he wouldnt. He then said "Maybe it wasnt a good idea for you to come over"

Then we started kissing again and He was like "I'm not sure this is a good idea, that we do this" but we did anyway, and we both performed oral sex on eachother and then I had to leave for work... So I left.

So I asked him if he was okay with what he did and he was like "are you okay" But I don't know....

I feel like he is sending me mixed signals, and that he isnt sure of what he wants, but I think if we continue to fool around it is just going to make everything worse. I'm not ready to move on to someone else, but I...oh idk...advice please?

I don't mean to be harsh but I truly believe that he is only keeping you around for the pleasure. I think what's best for you is to leave him alone. I know you love him and it'll be very hard but you need to try your hardest not to give in. Respect yourself sweetie and don't give in and let him take advantage of you. He may say this isn't a good idea and stuff like that but he's still going through it. He knows what he's doing and you need to see that. Like I said, I know you love him but love yourself, and don't let him use you. Be strong.

Ok well, we are about 17 and me and my girlfriend Britney have been going out for about three years now and i really love her. but i have no clue what to get her for christmas? usually i am pretty good at this stuff but this year i am clueless??? i have about like $250 to $300 to spend. He's thirteen and buying you Tiffany diamonds? That is crazy. I understand that you feel bad but let him know that you really didn't have any money. I'm sure he'd understand as well. I don't think it's a big deal. If anything, make him dinner or yes, burn a cd.. Write him a poem or a song. It's the little things that counts and you don't need to spend money to show your love.

i'm sorry but it isnt fair that just because his grandma doesnt allow you two to go out that you broke up with him. its not his fault and he may really really like you and you could be missing out on something good. if you really like him, you should go back with him because honestly, breaking up with him because of someone elses feelings isnt fair at all.

i think that you should go ahead and tell him how you feel about him first, and maybe if he likes you as well, that will break the ice. from the sounds of it, it seems as though he likes you too.. so you should definitely go for it.

Well christmas is coming up and i think i know what im doing for my Girlfriend, if you have read my past questions, i'm doing this thing, i get a vase with 11 roses in it, and one glass rose in it. just because youre not going to be seeing him as much doesnt mean that you should break up with him. if you still care about him, make it work. dont give up. you will never know, you might get to see him more than you expected.

i know that saying i love you can be hard, but you should never think twice about how you feel. if you believe that you love your boyfriend, just tell him. its never easy to say i love you to a person for the first time, so just let him know.

in the past my boyfriend and i got into many arguments about times when he was high or drung..but he claims he doesnt do it anymore and PROMISES he wont do it again (he knows i'll break up with him if i find him high or drunk again) BUT on friday i think he was high cuz his eyes were a 'tint' redish BUT he wasnt actin it or nothin and he didnt smell like it so my question is what are the signs that someone is high? so next time I KNOW when he is high and if he wasnt i dont accuse him of something he didnt do? so how would they act? eyes look? some peoples eyes dont get red at all when theyre high. it all depends on the person. when a person is high, they can act funny, or they can just be normal. if your guy smokes a lot, or often, then the weaker the weed affects him. i know people who smoke more than 4 times a day, and their eyes never turned red. although, it does lower the eye lids.

I'M HAPPY BUT SAD.. the guy i really like has been trying to ask me out, but can never find me after school. He also likes my best friend. He's like "She's going out with ____? honestly, im not sure if you should.. because to me, it seems like hes playing mind games. how is he interested in you and your best friend at the same time? say you and him started going out,how do you know if hes trying to talk to some other grl. but if you really like him, then give it a shot. just be sure you know what you want and that you looked at all sides before following through
