You are pretty much at a loss alright.... burn a CD with music/songs from his fav bands/groups/singers, or write some heartfelt diddies(poems, letters, etc) and read them with alot of honest and real feelings....

Bake him some homemade goodies that perhaps his own Mom doesn't do.... make cookies into the shapes of his initials, make coupons for little things you could do for him(clean his room, help with his homework, a surprise shopping trip where you buy what he wants when he's with you). All of which can be used by him later so that buys you some time..... you create the handcrafted coupons and card they would go inside of.

Make him a 'dinner' just for the two of you.... use candles, soft music and just sit and talk about life and you two.

There is so much you can do that doesn't have to be done by going shopping... be creative. If you have a plain white tshirt and have some permanent markers....design a tshirt filled with your own artwork that he can wear in the summer.....it would be a 'one of a kind'.... you know him, you know what kind of images/symbols he'd enjoy wearing.

The coupon idea tho would buy you time.... make a coupon for 'a hug a day for a month', a coupon for a personal letter once a week for six months, a coupon for date to the movies(you pay), a coupon for a dinner for two to his fav place(you pay)...... you really do have some choices, but you'll have to get busy.

Hope this helps just a little.....

Make him a cd of all the songs that make you think of him. Also, you could make him a cute little card, and if he comes over & you know how to cook...Make him dinner. =) And watch a cute movie.

Yes you should burn him a cd of your favorite songs for him. You should also make him a card that say the things that you love about him. Yeah you will probably feel cheap but it's the thought that counts not how much money you put into it=). & im sure if he loves you w.e you get him he will be happy.

He's thirteen and buying you Tiffany diamonds? That is crazy. I understand that you feel bad but let him know that you really didn't have any money. I'm sure he'd understand as well. I don't think it's a big deal. If anything, make him dinner or yes, burn a cd.. Write him a poem or a song. It's the little things that counts and you don't need to spend money to show your love.

Girl, you got it real good. HE LOVES YOU. Sorry, just felt like saying that. Ok, back to your problem. It doesn't matter about how much your gift is worth. Go home and really think from the heart what you want to provide for your man. Think of the "Cater 2u" song although you might hate it and that's understandable. Yet think about it that way. Serving him and what you think his needs are wisely. Just back him cup cakes, or get a card with chocolates, some sports, if you know someone in your family willing to give you like a jersey of his favorite team(sorry if I spelled it wrong.) Bake him something or make him something. The best gifts are, of course, from the heart.

before valentines day (i'm guessing this is why he's bought you all these lovely gifts), tell him that you are really sorry but you cant afford to buy him expensive gifts or very much at all, i'm sure he'll understand because he seems to really like you and think alot of you. Try and buy him something cheap but that looks expensive...thats what i do ;-) See if you can borrow some money off your parents to get him a little something, maybe they'll give you some pocket money for chores or just lend you some money. If you cant get to town, order something online, i'm always doing that, you can get some lovely valentines gifts for a good price.
Or like you said, make him a cd of all his favourite songs. you could even make a special cd cover for it.

You know i dont have all that much money either so i am baking a cake for my boyfriend. Just make him cupcakes or a cake. My cake has pink frosting and white lettering and red and white hearts all over. and it says I love you. Its cinnamon swirl cake. Just ask ur mom to pick up some cake mix after shes done with work. Or bake cookies and put hearts on them. Or lips. Its the thought that counts and write him a letter and stick it into a card you make. A CD would be a great idea of course too! let me know how it goes!

Hope I helped (sorry so short im at school)

Trix
