Ok so i'm gonna start working out and i would like to just start working on my trouble areas so what are some good exercises to do for my stomach my arms and my thighs????? please help

start off with like, half a mile.
do that for a week, add gradually.
i know a lot of you guys are probably gonna tell me i dont need to lose weight
and everyone calls me tiny so im not gonna tell you how much i weigh
but since everyone is calling me tiny and skinny and wish they had my body
i feel like i NEED to be tiny
but i still feel like im chunky
so if anyone has anything to help me to lose weight that would be great

Really, your question is bizarre. If you could tell us your weight and height, it would really help, although sometimes that isn't that accurate on guessing what your body could look like.
So, i'm going to tell you to do something, then you can write a question to my page.
Go on good & type in "BMI calculator".
Do everything, and write back to me telling me your bmi, & be honest when you tell me.
That is what will tell you if you actually need to lose weight, or NOT.
everyone says cardio is the way to lose weight.
well is ddr considered cardio?
cos i like playing it, but like i dont like running.
so could i play ddr and still be doing cardio then do like squats and crunches on the ablounge to tone the muscles?

I would definately say that you doing DDR would be a lot better than you sitting there on the couch eating chips or something. Although i'd probally have to say that it's not equailent to running or riding a bike, it's better than nothing. So, continue to do DDR but each week or so, up the time you do it. After a while, you should really try running. I mean, running is great for you. It realives stress, it's relaxing, it's good for you, it's something that you can do easily, and once you start running and get better, you'll be excited to set goals and work towards them. Running really isn't as bad as you might think.
So, goodluck. Also, if it's summer time, riding your bike for like an hour is good, but not casual riding, like go on big, long roads with hills and go fast.

ok. so i am a 14/f and im about 125 pounds. i have a chubby stomach and a shubby face. but not overly chubby. the only thing i dun like is my chin. like i dont have a double chin but like i will one day. is there anyway to loose some fat around my face??
I agree with your first answer to this question, if you lose weight over-all, your face will eventually get thinner, although it's not a promise.
Okay,so i have a friend who started to use"lean blance" diet pill.
She lost 25 pounds in to weeks.
I really want to use it.
My mom isnt a fan of pills,but hear is my story.
Last summer,i worked out and took dance classes.
Somedays i would work out for 3 hours others 2 hours.
But everyday i worked out ate the right food.

First off, how old are you & how much do you weight.
Check your BMI on a website, and see if your techinacally overweight, if so, then heres help.
You might have a thyroid(sp) problem. This is something that controls your whole body. Your doc could do blood work to find out.
If your not overweight, maybe you have no weight to lose!
i'm not sure, but pleaes do'nt obsess over this. Maybe over dance you gained muscle & lost fat, so it equaled out. (muscle weighs more than fat)

When is the best time to start jogging, jump roping, biking, or whatever...after youve eaten or before? At night, before you go to sleep, or the morning when you wake up?
I've done research & neither really is better. They both have pros and cons though.
If you try to exercise in the morning, you'll probally have more energey, have energy for the day. And if you don't get to workout in the morning theres always another chance at night. Opposite if you say your going to exercise @ night, you could just not do it, or get busy, and if you workout at night, you might be too energized to go to bed. BAsically theres more benefits to exercising in the monring.
As far as after or before you eat, i'd eat a little bit before you workout and eat after. I find alot of times after working out i'm hungry. So kinda both.

Drink Water, make physical activity a daily thing, eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, no more no less.
Lots of fruit & veggies. Lean meat [turkey & chicken]
Don't put pressure on yourself to lose 20 lbs. Thats a lot. And if in the first week or so you don/t lose, keep going!
If you want more motivation, only weight yourself every other sunday. {so like once in 2 weeks}

hey! well im not really overweight..i just feel a little chubby. and i usually do anywhere from about 30-60 situps each day..or i try to! its SOOO hard for my to eat healthier tho..really it is :( thats why i dont think i could ever go on a diet..but i decided that i wanted to start running on my treadmile..maybe that will tone my stomache? but how often do you think i have to run and for how long?? or is there anything else i could do by exercising to try and tone my tummy?

yes, walk.jog.run(ing) can help you lose belly.
your stomach has a six back, but it is covered with fat. ( am no i'm not saying your fat )
run/jog/walk/ like 30-90 minutes a day, you can split it up so its not all @ once.
and yes pilates is like freaking awesome.
go to the store && get sum ab workout videos.

walk/jog 20-60 minutes a day..do intervals, like 90 sec walk, 90 sec run...ect..

Recently, I have been so stressed out, depressed, unhappy, eating way more than I used to (it is overeating), and gaining massive amounts of weight (my clothes barely fit any more and that makes me so upset). && i wouldn't suggest running on a treadmill as far as getting ready for track, running on a treadmill is 100% easier than like outside or in a school or whatever
just try to run 5 minutes at a time
then a week or so later, do 10 minutes

My grandmother told me she would buy one type of exercise equipment for me to exercise on. I don't know what to choose though. I need something that it pretty small or medium sized. My main problem areas are my thighs and bum. What would be one of the best pieces of equipment I could get?

Okay, so my diet's not too bad - Everything I eat has to be nonfat if possible, and I don't even eat that much. I also exercise, and I know the exercising I'm doing is making a difference - my body looks a little better and feels a little stronger. My goal is to lose like 20 pounds.
I do 200 crunches every other night, 40 every other night
I lift and curl and do pushups and dips, and do some cardio when I can.
But I still have like, an inch of fat on me that I'm DYING to get rid of. I'm convinced at this point that with all the work I do, if I didn't have this fat on my stomach, I would have a nice set of abs. I'm not "fat" - my BMI is normal - but I'm not happy with the way I look and feel.
I know I have to do cardio - but how much? Are there any other tricks I can use? Eating less isn't an option, as I barely eat to begin with. Lol.
Does cutting carbs really work? I thought of that, but my mother is convinced it's bull, so I dunno what to think.
I only drink water and coffee (I can't cut coffee, I neeeeeeeed it.) and I've been sleeping more lately.

ok, you might possibly not be eating enough.
Eating little amounts of food only works for a while. MAKE SURE YOU EAT BREAKFAST! Try not to eat super unheathly stuff. Try whole wheat cereal with like banana's or strawberry's in it. Whole Grain toast with peanut butter
I am quite small and don't have much fat on my body. I weigh 90 pounds and i'm about 4' 10.5'' I have very muscualar legs, arms, and shoulders. My problem area: my lower stomache. I have a minor pot belly. YUCKKK!
I'm in 7th grade and have a really busy schedule. The only time i could fit in some excercise would be when i get home from school, but im usually famished and need some rest. I'm not fat and i will never think that EVER no matter what. I accept who I am completely, but I do think staying healthy is important. I need help motivating myself to leg lifts and that crap. i don't like it! It hurts! What can i do to motviate myself and fit in an excersise schedule?

Sometimes... I feel so chubby.
Well, like most young teenagers, I'm obsessed with my weight and staying healthy. Actually, it's not exactly my weight... It's just that I look kind of fat. I'm 14 years old... I stand at 5' 1" and I weigh just about 105 pounds... I never thought that I was over-weight (but am I?)... It's just I look fatter than how much I really weigh. Is that even normal? Does that even make sense?(o.O) My friends are always telling me I look fine and that I'm "skinny" but I know they're just saying that so I won't feel bad. A lot of my friends weigh more than me and are taller than me... but they look more... normal. Sometimes I just think I'm insecure... or something... Should I exercise more often? Should I try to lose just a little weight? Or am I just going crazy?

I definatly don't think your crazy to start things off! ha And for your height and everything, it sounds normal ( i'm no doctor ha ) not SUPER skinny, bit its aite. If you feel chubby maybe its because of flabby arms? gross stomach? big thighs? idk what the case is. Maybe if you got a beginners pilates or yoga dvd, you could tone up. Sooner or later your gunna exercise because as you get older, you gain weight
