When is the best time to start jogging, jump roping, biking, or whatever...after youve eaten or before? At night, before you go to sleep, or the morning when you wake up?
advice_me answered Monday May 1 2006, 3:18 pm: I would work out in the morning so you get it done with. If your busy in the morning after school/work would be good. You don't want to procastinate because then you'll feel bad about not working out. [ advice_me's advice column | Ask advice_me A Question ]
orphans answered Monday May 1 2006, 3:03 pm: The morning is the best time to work out because you can get it over with and then once it's over with you can't procrastinate and say you'll go tomarrow instead. The longer into the day you wait, the less chance you'll actually go because you could get busy or have a lot of homework and forget to work-out. And morning is the time when you have the most energy. This is because sleeping refreshes you so the next day you won't be tired. And as far as when to eat, I think you should have a little snack before you work-out. That's because it will give you more energy and you won't get cramps if you just eat a little. Something small like an energy bar or granola bar or fruit would be best. :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

Which ever time of day you decide to excerise make sure its in the coolest part of that time of day. [ AskGwen's advice column | Ask AskGwen A Question ]

If you try to exercise in the morning, you'll probally have more energey, have energy for the day. And if you don't get to workout in the morning theres always another chance at night. Opposite if you say your going to exercise @ night, you could just not do it, or get busy, and if you workout at night, you might be too energized to go to bed. BAsically theres more benefits to exercising in the monring.
As far as after or before you eat, i'd eat a little bit before you workout and eat after. I find alot of times after working out i'm hungry. So kinda both.
xobrittyxo answered Monday May 1 2006, 1:34 pm: You have the most energy when you first wake up. It probably doesn't seem like it since everyone drags for the first hour or so every morning, but after a good nights sleep (7.5+ hours) you have the most energy of the day, right when you wake up; you are refreshed.
