Vanity answered Saturday March 4 2006, 9:57 pm: You are not going to lose 10lbs in 2 weeks. I wish you kids would get that through your heads.
You have to lose weight just like the rest of us: with a healthy, balanced diet and exercise. Over time.
For exercise you can try running, jogging, dance, tae bo, etc. (anything intense that will get your heart pumping for at least 30 mins) There are alot of DVD's available for this if you do not have access to a gym.
Stay away from bad fats, sugars, fast food, soda, white breads, etc. Snack on fruit or veggies. Eat reasonable portions. You will lose alot of weight by cutting out empty calories.
Do NOT skip breakfast (speeds your metabolism up). You will have more success with your weight loss if you do not skip meals. Be sure to eat within an hour of waking up.
Teza answered Saturday March 4 2006, 7:51 pm: It's not really possible to loose that much weight in 2 weeks. The healthiest and safest way is to loose about 2-3 pounds a week. Starving yourself won't do you ANY good what so ever but eating healthier and exercising sure will. I'm not just saying that to sound smart but seriously. It also doesn't mean you have to go on any diets to loose weight. You can still eat your normal foods but you also have to know what's good for you and what's not. Of course you know that junk food, fast food, fried, oils, sweets and fats are all bad. Eat a smaller porportion. Eat 3 meals a day and have snacks. By snacks I mean fruit, non fat yogurts, a small peace of cake, handful of chips. Drink diet soda because it has less calories and drink tons of water because it's really healthier. The key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in. So try eating about 1,500-2,000 calories a day and exercise for about an hour and walking really will help you. Do crunches and if you stick to this you will see results fast. I'm not making this up because I do this and it works for me. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
DeadMemories answered Saturday March 4 2006, 6:39 pm: Hi,
Things that you could do is do pull ups every night. Start with 10 then 20.
When you are watching TV have your parents hide the remote that way you will have to get up and turn the channel.
Walk your dog (if you have one). If you have one walk him/her about 30 minutes to an hour.
Cut back on Soda and Sports Drinks. Don't drink Diet Sodas also because they use more sugar to make the taste of the product rather than taking it out.
