about

Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a senior in college & I'm slowly deciding what I want to do with my life. I love Harry Potter, coffee, writing, and sleeping (amongst other things). I'll never claim to know everything, but I'm confident in my ability to help people with their problems. Feel free to send me an inbox question; I'll get back to you!
A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.
BU 2014 :)
wicked awesome conversations
^my forum, liven it up a little?
advice
I'm going to the midnight premiere of Deathly Hallows and I want to make my own shirt. I want something unique that has to do specifically with DH and not other books and also something that not everyone else will have. I'd also prefer it to have something to do with Slytherin or the Malfoys but if not that's cool too. Thanks in advance!
I would make something involving the horcruxes! I actually just made a deathly hallows necklace to wear to a midnight premiere.
Anyway most people who wear something Harry Potter related buy it: costumes, shirts, etc. Get a tshirt and fabric paint and go crazy! Maybe sketch each of the horcruxes with a fabric pen. Make it look like the Marauder's Map with a treasure map feel. I'd use sponges and brushes, for an old paper effect- gold for sure. That would look striking :)
Oh and on the back, put a quote, in a contrasting color from the shirt. I'm a big fan of "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU B*TCH!" Or "I'm holy! Ear, ear"
Have fun :)

(Rating: 5) I LOVE this idea but I'm NOT artistic at all so there's just no way I could do it justice. Thank you so much though! :)
