"Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love" - Albus Dumbledore

Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a senior in college & I'm slowly deciding what I want to do with my life. I love Harry Potter, coffee, writing, and sleeping (amongst other things). I'll never claim to know everything, but I'm confident in my ability to help people with their problems. Feel free to send me an inbox question; I'll get back to you!

A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

BU 2014 :)

advice

thankk youuu hunny :)
i want to write a remuse but that thing is that i been searching in google to see if i can find an example and they all look different :(
do you know of a website where i can write my remume really good ?? only if you can i would really appreaciate it , the thing is that i want a job and i really hope they take me there :D :) .
and thanks for my job resume i put accounting/receptionist,selling overflow bags & picking up he phone as a customer service? do you think that part sounded good? "customer service"? uh , i just need help with that little part and the resume , thank you :) i would appreciate it .

Yes, that sounds good. When I revised my resume I put a section underneath the job describing what my responsibilities were. So yours would look something like:

City Hall 2009- present
Accounting/Receptionist
Responsibilities included selling overflow bags & picking up the phone as a receptionist.

And the thing with resumes is that there's many ways to make it look eye catching, just so long as it's still professional you have a fair amount of leeway here. It's good to make columns line up and stuff. I had a lot of help with mine and i suggest having a trusted adult help you :) And the sample online are pretty good.

I liked this one, only 'cause it looks like mine haha: - http://www.thejobexplorer.com/Resume_Template/images/resume-example.gif

I didn't read it that much, but you'll notice how the locations of the jobs, the years worked, and the job titles all line up. That's important.
