We don't need religion. Hear me out. If Jesus were to come down from Hevan and say "I am the son of God" and showed us all of is water to wine stuff, scientist could test it and then Christianity would become a science and all other religions would be be proven wrong and therefore not be religions.

That was my little prologue, here is my question Is it possible that our societies have reached a point in which we can admit there is no need for religion and have good morals without a book or God(s) to tell us what they are?

Alot of people think that religion is important. Some people think that it is not. We are all enititled to our own opinion, and you cannot change other people's minds. I agree with what russian spy said. How can you interpret events that happened so long ago? I have watched many shows and read many books about the bible code and things like that. If you've ever watched any, there are scientists who study bibliography, who confirm that religions are real. There is even proof of it. You have a strong opinion, and surely you are a great person. I'm sure you have high expectations and morals for yourself, right? That could be similar to a religion.

So the bottom line is, people are going to believe what they want to believe no matter what.I have to say, for myself, that I do not go to church. I believe in God, but I do not worship him in groups. To me, religion is more of a personal thing.

You may have strong beliefs about religion, but please be respective that other people take great pride in their religion.

(Rating: 5) I meant not disrespect to you or your belief. I don't believe, but I do think it is good for people. And posting this I had no intention of being an ass, I was just trying to make people ponder.
