My friend has a heart condition that she hides from just about every one of her friends except for me. The problem is that she is kind of a party girl. She smokes about a pack a day, gets high about twice a week during the summer and once a week during the school year and she drinks excessively on a very frequent basis. I've really really considered doing a few things but I have encountered so many problems. The first thing is that she absolutely doesn't want to quit even though it could kill her. Her mind set is that if she doesnt live til the age when fun switches from getting messed up, playing football in the rain and then having sex with your latest boy toy, to sipping tea and knocking a tennis ball back and forth, then she's not missing out on too much. Unfortunately for me, I kind of agree with her about that. Anyways, the last time one of her friends talked to her about it she quit talking to him and now will rarely even answer the phone when he calls. Another problem is that she lives 1600 miles from me and I only spend 3 weeks a year with her this year, though im currently saving up $1200 to go see her and my buds there this winter, so I cant really talk to her face to face. I would tell her best friend but she made me absolutely promise not to mention her heart condition to him, so I'm not sure what to do. The rate she's going a person without her condition would die around 40, and with her mind set, I could accept that, but if she doesnt quit soon she could die before I even get to see her again, and to be honest, that scares me so horribly that it was all I could do to write this. Thank you for any advice you might have.
you should call her and tell her that she is hurting herself and shorting her life day by day by a mistake. and tell her mistakes are easy to make so to whatch out! and she should understand. try going out and stuff and talk and hang out to get her mind off of that stuff!

yeah surprizingly i actually have all the answers to everyone ?'s but my own. I'm 15 and was in a realationship with this boy for 4 months. But before that we were together off and on. Dont like make threats like that. That could really make ones feelings go overboard and stuff then they will feel like bad and then go to drugs to feel less, worried about the whole thing to keep their mind off of the bad. I have learned alot of stuff from what my friends do and its not the best thing to do.
-First of all, if you guys like each other alot, Then you should be able to sit down with him. And tell him what he is doing with his life isnt 100% right and that its messing him up day by day. And how is your Love going to last if you were just to like Die the next day over something dumb like Drugs. Let him know how you feel about the whole drug thing. And tell him "I mean Im sure there are other things to do to like keep your mind off of coming to drugs like coming to me to talk to" And tell him you Love him and you will always be there and if he keeps it up one day your going to walk away and he is going to look back not even knowing you left because he is doing drugs.
-Then if that doesnt work then you shouldnt keep putting yourself in that kinda suituation and like go, Meet new people and im thinkin your in highschool so get to know some more hotties or like go hang out with your friends. And once he sees your not there anymore he will relize what he did wrong to hurt you and your relationship!

me and my friend are together in a babysitting job and we love children so much and we just already let out flyers one,last year and once just recently the next year..on the 1st year flyer given out..no1 responded..the 2nd year one responded..liked our job..gave us $20 each for 1 1/2 hours...i know.. alot..o well..lol..back to the subject..ever since that day..no1 has responded..what should we do? send out more flyers or keep waiting or quit caring..what should we do??
