tropiicalXsplash answered Monday July 12 2004, 10:15 pm:
No, it's healthier for you than sun-tan or tanning beds because you're not exposed to harmful UV rays. it may not turn out as good, though so be careful to apply it evenly.

No I dont think so, but most the time it comes out orange! or streaky! So if you choose to use to make sure you read the directions, and make sure it doesnt turn out streaky. Good luck

I can tell you one thing, it's better than using cancerous, ultra-violet rays or tanning beds.

xmissybootsx answered Sunday July 11 2004, 4:24 pm:
It's not bad. Most of the stuff you get turns you orange, though. But my friend told me this.."If it's in an orange bottle, THAT'S the colour it'll end up!" Just don't put a lot on when you first do it. Start with just a little bit, don't load it on.

And if you're not into looking orange.. get something like Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil and go outside and tan. Looks more natural.

It's not necessarily BAD for you, it's just not the best choice. It turns your skin orangish... The best way to get a good tan is to lay out somewhere in the sun... No fake and bake...

No, I dont think so. It's safer than a real tan, which damages your skin permanently and cause cancer.

lovinyouzzforeva! answered Sunday July 11 2004, 11:19 am:
hey hun,
nope not aat all! uv rays are what makes your skin tick, and the only problem with rub-on-tan is if you put it on unevenly, you get streaks and lines, also if you get it on your hands and dont rinse it off right away, they turn orange!
That wou;ld be the other setback-finding bottled tan that truly gives you a realistic looking tan, not just truning you into a walking orange. I recommend neutrogena, and lancome, but lancome is kinda pricey so use it sparingly!

I don't think so. Tanning is only bad if you use a sun bed to excess.
