I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I don't recommend telling your friend that you do like her friend, because more than likely, she will tell him/her. I think you should keep it to yourself, and make a move on him when you feel ready to.

Today is the first day of my period and which is usually one of the heaviest days. I have been sitting around most of today watching television and doing things on my laptop. Is it ok that I have been sitting down and not standing up? Will the affect my period? (link)

Many people tend to think that sitting and standing affects your period, luckily, it's only a myth. So this will not affect your period whatsoever. :)

Ugh. Okay. I have this friend, and she's about two years older than me. I don't think she's bi, but its possible. Anyway, this morning her boyfriend broke up with her. Up until now I never even considered that I liked her, but she said something about being nobody's type, and I just felt like I wanted to kiss her and make her feel better. I think I do like her. I think you should talk to her, and tell her how you feel. I can't tell you what her sexual orientation is, but I can tell you that it would only make it worse on you -- if you choose not to talk to her about this, and let her know how you're really feeling.
A good way to look at it is that if she is bisexual, then you may have a chance with her. If she isn't, and she's a good friend, she will understand more than likely, and things will stay the same.

Hi, so I'm a high school girl and there's this guy I really like and think he's like the sweetest guy ever and is really gorgeous, but he's like 2 0r 3 years younger than me. Many ppl would normally be like "eeeww that's weird" (and I usually would never consider a younger guy either). But he's actually really mature, like more mature than most of the guys I know my age. But also, the other thing is that I've only known him for about like a month and a half and have only hung out with him like once at a concert where he totally saved my life (where he like held me in the mosh pit because I felt dizzy), but have talked to him a billion times since then, AND am going to prom with him in like 2 weeks.....idk what to do and I'dask my friends but they'd prolly be like "ahh he's too young don't bother" Do you think I should tell him how much I like him? I do, I wouldn't let your friends tell you what to do on this. If your really like him, you should tell him and more than likely, he feels the same as you. It seems that way already. :)

There could be a few reasons, I'll explain those to you.
She could have been having sex and has not told you, and that's why the tests are resulting in she's pregnant.
She could have been fingered or another way, that sperm could have gotten into her vagina.
The tests could also be incorrect, however, it's unlikely for them to be incorrect being that she's taken two, that say she is pregnant.

Actually, they can work on Advicenators (I just tried it). Except when you get the code, only copy and paste the "Background Image URL" into the background URL on Advicenators.

I think the sundress would fit perfectly with a country club, no matter the setting -- it will do. I also suggest some bangles to go with the sundress, it would be really cute.

I'm in the same situation right now as you are, so I know how you're feeling. I think you should wait it out a bit, and see how things are going with their relationship. If it comes to an end, definitely tell him at that time. If it comes between the two of you too much, before they break up -- go ahead and tell him, because if you don't at that time, you may lose your friendship altogether.

Sure, that's a great idea. You can get really awesome jeans in good quality for much less, than you would pay at name brand stores. I definitely recommend it!

Hey, I don't think this is anything to stress over (even though we all occasionally do this, even me). Something could have happened to make him sign off, he made of had to do something else, etc. It could be a number of reasons, but as I mentioned, I don't think this is anything to worry about. :)

No, in fact, most girls have a lot of discharge. Especially, the first couple of years after starting their periods and/or leading up to having your period. So believe me, you have nothing to worry about.
The only thing to consider when it comes to discharge is an abnormal smell (such as fishy or bread-y), or a very yellow color. If you have any of those symptoms, you should go to the doctor because it could be an STD. However, as I mentioned, if you don't have any of these problems, you have nothings to worry about as far as amount. :)

Most generally, when a guy says you're clingy it means that you are always hanging around him and not giving him enough space. I think you should talk to him about it, and ask him exactly what he means by "clingy." Listen to what he has to say, then try to work on the things he says are bothering him, if you feel they are both relevant and important to work on.

No, I'm afraid they can't hold music videos. If that's the only reason you want an Ipod Nano --
I don't recommend buying it, because it would unfortunately, be a waste of money.

I have personally tried this and it works very well. I apply the toothpaste and leave it there overnight, and by morning it's gone. The toothpaste method is definitely recommended. :)

so this guy i like who is 18 told me about a month ago that the only thing he really wanted was sex. he didnt want a relationship. he wanted sex and that's it. He said we should hang out and get to "know each other" because we dont know each other that well. He said that honestly he isn't sure he'll fall for me or not, but the number one thing is sex. He didnt specifically say it. but THATS all ive noticed he talks about. So i talked to him & told him that he i dont respect him since obviously he doesnt respect me. So now it's become a little bit of a fight and he understands what i mean. So now he doesnt want to have anything to do with me. I still like him though.

This guy is not even worth your time, honestly. I know, it's hard because a part of you still likes him. However, you said yourself that you don't respect him because he doesn't respect you. A relationship is nothing without respect, and it doesn't sound like he wants a good relationship, as you do.
If all he's out for is sex, then you should let him go. He obviously doesn't care about you, if he did, he would want more from you than only sex. Not to mention if someone found out the two of you were having sex (hypothetically, speaking), he would go to jail because you're a minor and he's considered an adult.
I'm sorry for being so honest, but I hope it's something you appreciate. I really don't want you to be in this mess, because this guy is being a jerk. I wish you the best of luck, and recommend staying away from him.

Just started my 1st period.The week before I got loads of discharge,sometimes gooey sometimes mustardy kind of textur,and I hadny been able to get to sleep - is that because my body was preparing for it?

This is completely normal when you first start your period, especially, when it comes to trying to sleep. Your period tends to make you very uncomfortable not only with sleeping, but with cramps, pains, etc. However, as I mentioned, this is completely normal and is what is supposed to happen. Some girls have periods worse than others, and/or different from others. But here are some things you can do to make it as comfortable as possible:
1. To help with the discharge, wear pantyliners (pantyliners are just about like pad, only thinner and are used for discharge).
2. For sleeping, take Midol. This will stop your aches and pains from being as painful, and should help you get some sleep.
