partygurl24 answered Sunday April 29 2007, 12:28 am: Totally. Cheaper, vintage stuff is so chique! I mean you're getting the same jeans only for a cheaper price, which means saving money for even more clothes. It's a great idea =)
I hope I helped! [ partygurl24's advice column | Ask partygurl24 A Question ]
ASAPcamille answered Saturday April 28 2007, 6:03 pm: That is what I do! You get such a better deal, and are not wasting money on them. I think it is a really good idea, and i dont know why when people mention it some scream "EWWWW.. USED CLOTHES!". I think its worth it. [ ASAPcamille's advice column | Ask ASAPcamille A Question ]
LadyH answered Saturday April 28 2007, 4:02 pm: Is it dumb? Absolutely not. You're buying the same $100+ jeans, just gently used & much cheaper. You just got to have the patience to look through their stuff to find something decent. So of course it's a good idea. :) If you are having a hard time buying jeans for a decent price, try Wet Seal. I get my jeans there for about $20 & they've always lasted me a long time! :) [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Saturday April 28 2007, 3:51 pm: Why the Hell not? I went to Goodwill yesterday and got myself a bunch of awesome clothes. I even found several things from Old Navy and other major brands. And when I wear them, nobody will even be able to tell they had a previous owner. The thing with Goodwill is that you must hunt for the bargains. Prices are cheap, if you're willing to do the work. Thrift stores have good clothes, and thrift stores have shit clothes. Shop around, and keep an open mind. You'll find yourself something real nice, trust me. :) [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
ANG answered Saturday April 28 2007, 3:42 pm: Of course. You can even get some crazy suits if you like. My friend and I do that sometimes. Woo for Goodwill. [ ANG's advice column | Ask ANG A Question ]
LagunaBabe answered Saturday April 28 2007, 3:29 pm: Sure, that's a great idea. You can get really awesome jeans in good quality for much less, than you would pay at name brand stores. I definitely recommend it! [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]
